[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

It couldn't hurt to try. It may not be the battery, but at least you can say you tried another one.
Agreed, did full factory reset/wipe last night which I thought might help. Flashed 166 then inkredikernel. Nope, took phone off charger at 7 am, turned it on, checked a few emails and texts, it's now 8:22 and I'm at 80%. 20% drop in little over an hour and most of that was on Wifi while at home which normally drains the battery significantly slower than 3g.

UGH. So frustrated that I'm going to try the OEM battery soon, maybe the Seido has gone bad. Don't know where else to turn.

For what it's worth, I have been experiencing something similar but probably not quite as bad as wkupike2000. The moment I start using the web for much of anything, power level drops quickly - just used 3% of battery to download and install Lookout update - am on 169 with Incredikernel - problem has been recent, maybe the past 2 weeks or so - wondering if I need to "condition" the battery with a full drain and charge - using the 1750ma Seidio battery

Check this out:
Your battery gauge is lying to you (and it's not such a bad thing) - xda-developers

Just FYI. I use stock HTC Incredible battery with latest nightly and Incredikernal. Have had 3g and GPS on and off for almost 5 hours. I'm at 79% with original 1300maH battery.

That thread is awesome and his new one which is linked, talks about using an appliance timer overnight to maximize your charge. I'm going to try that as it would be worth the extra battery. I leave for my honeymoon Sunday but may switch back to my stock battery after I return to see if the Seido is just going bad.

Congratulations and Good Luck!

Has there been a BT fix lately?

#173 has this:
Bluetooth: Ignore the Genre attribute length for AVRCP 1.3 Metadata request (android_external_bluetooth_bluez)

Bluetooth: AVRCP 1.3 feature changes
(android_external_bluetooth_bluez)

Don't know if that helps or not.

First time flasher of CM7 (picked 170). It seems great, though battery life definitely not as good as Sky Raiders 4.3, which I also liked for Sense. CM7 seems really snappy and I may stick with it for a bit. What are some big reasons that you guys like CM and stick with it?

For me it was the improved performance and speed. I was having the low app memory issues and it got to the point that I couldnt work around it anymore. Ive liked CM7 so much since using it. Its an amazing ROM.

So 170 has been really good, got it themed. So should I keep trying newer nightlife or stick with one that seems stable?

Josh - try a re-flash clearing Cache and Dalvik again. I've had no GPS problems.
Tried all that several times plus restoring a few times. Ended up long formatting SD card and doing a fresh install. That fixed it. Wierd huh. Must have been an app permission or something else. I may never know root cause of that one. :-\

Sometimes with overflashing nightlies there can be wonkiness that develops. That's why the CM team won't even take a bug report unless you've already done a full wipe and fresh install.

Glad you got it working!

Its not working now. Made no changes. I think it is a defect for the phone. Any ideas?? Going to take it back to Verizon I guess. Time to reverse root...
