Has anyone tried the latest Incredikernel dated 10-01-2011 yet? I usually find I have a little better battery life when using the Incredikernel.

I have been using it since shortly after tiny posted it on Chad's site. Silky smooth and exceptional battery life on smartass v2.

I gunno try that one later today when I flash the latest nightly

I've been running 10-01-2011 since Wednesday and it does seem to be giving a little better battery life. Usually by about 9pm I'm around 40% (heave use) but it seems around midnight I'm still at 50%.

Yeah I flashed 217 and i think this drains my battery more then usual I was on 210 and it was so good I for got I was on a nightly. also people quick question, so i just flash a kernal like any other thing i would flash over the rom, any special precautions i should take????

When flashing a kernel, you should always wipe your cache and dalvik cache from recovery before flashing.

Walk us through your process of what you did before you got stuck. Did you use ROM Manager to install the ROM or did you flash it yourself in recovery? I'm assuming you made a backup of your previous ROM and made sure to wipe data and cache before flashing this ROM.

I made a back up and i used a rom manager im going to try again

To update everyone, I did have 2 or 3 times yesterday where my screen would not wake up. This morning i saw that the new stable (7.1) was ready. I'm running that with the latest inkredikernal. I'll keep you updated.

Flashed 7.1 with Chad's latest. I did a fresh install and re installed all apps from the market, not from a backup. Once word describes this rom.......smoooooooth!!!!!!

Anyone else having this market issue with 2.3.7? I have two apps I paid for that are showing up in my apps list as not installed, one of them is the Boy Scout handbook:

When I click on the app, it tells me the item is not available:

I haven't had a problem but then I only have about 60 apps installed. I did notice that there is no 'BSA Scout Handbook' from Android Overflow in the market but there is a 'BSA Scouts Handbook' from MyApp Builder. Could it have been replaced?
