I cant register either. but as of last night I am getting the updates in my notifications bar - no idea whyWell bummer. After doing a full wipe and reload in hopes of being able to register for the CM build notifications... alas it was for naught.

Congrats dude... I love this thread... Overall I have learned more about my phone just from this thread alone... and I am looking forward to sharing the knowledge!!! question though... since #8 is already here wouldn't they have to do the lockscreen mod into #9. not sure how it all works
ssethv, are you getting the CM notification or the Rom Manager notification? (The CM one is a blue CM Logo)
I am getting the one with the CW Rom manager(the black hat and orange gear symbol) ... by the question you asked I assume they are different?
Well I can't get him the framework for build 9 until it's released, if everybody would rather I just wait til #9 is released I will hold off.
I haven't flashed 8 yet so its up to your bro... I can hold out

I have cleaned up a little bit of the OP, nothing major. I have also added the newest version of the Tiamat kernel, which fixes the phone wake issue found in the previous version. I am flashing now, will let everyone know what battery life is like after a day of use.

Also added the latest (2.27.11) Incredikernel, anybody want to give it a shot? I'm still gonna put the new Tiamat through it's paces.

Awesome! I was just going to wait til #9 dropped to get you the framework-res, but if you want to do it yourself, by all means!
couple issues i had with #8:
everything was great for like 10 hours, running the slayher .37 kernel, until i rebooted. then my texts were erased, digital clock widget went a little crazy, and could no longer long-hold the homescreen for a new folder or app (not sure if this is an option i mistakenly turned off in adw, bc i dont usually use adw, but i looked around and didnt find anything).
after the reboot the launcher also began to lag a bit.
but everything was swell before that.
might try a different kernel combo or flash 9 or both.

also errors sending files from my cpu via bluetooth

Try re-flashing #8 with cache and dalvik wipes from recovery rather then ROM manager.
I did a clean install of #8 over the weekend to try and clear up another problem and I've had no performance issues with #8 at all.
Hello all. has anyone else have a problem with downloading apps from the market in saying that the installation failed due to insufficient storage space. I would hit reinstall and it would work fine But Im trying to figure out why it failed the first time.

I am new to this site and this thread... I just wanted to say Hi and thank you to everyone that leaves feedback... I have been involved in other threads on other sites before and I know that they can become "cluttered" with already asked questions because people don't take the time to read through all of them and find the question and answer they may have... So, I will not ask any questions about this ROM that hasn't already been posted in the thread.

i did a clean install from recovery the first time around, bc i was coming from athena 1.2.
today i did a clean install from recovery and tried incredikernal 37 instead of the slayher, and had my messages wiped again when i powered down.
not sure exactly what's happening with that.
as a side note, things were snappier with the slayher 37 kernel, from what i could tell.
and ill probably wait for 9 or try rc1 again and see if my messages stay intact.
edit
btw i was running clockwork 3.0.5 so maybe if i flash back to 2.x i could avoid this issue. (?)
