[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

I too am back from the world of miui (froyo). I liked the 720p recording, but other than that, CM7 takes the cake. I think my favorite thing about it is that I have only 4 running processes on startup/idle. You can't beat that for battery life!

One thing I have noticed is the ability to change the background color of the native texting app to black or white( used to only be white with no option for black). NOW we have a choice, not sure when they baked this option into the nightlies but i like it... my motto is, the less colors I can use, the more battery I can save... just like my HomeScreen. Under 'settings' -> 'Black Background' w/checkbox (the whole reason I "was" using Handcent app is for the very option :)

I'm running straight RC4 (which was nightly 33 or 34 i think) and it has that option as well. I'm sticking with handcent cause i really like the pop-up message window..if the native app did that I'd be all over it.

They actually had this option all the way back to RC2 (thats when i noticed it) and I also got rid of handcent for the same reason after realizing that black option.

gotta love CM7! :D:D

Thanks dude. wasn't to hard to make. just a pain in the butt to get it into a pb31img.zip... I still cant figure it out.... IF anyone can do it for me that would be sweet... but I would also like to learn how to do it too. ya know... I want to make more. I tried to take on creating themes, ya right, way to much time and effort for me...school and work

I was just adding some custom icons to some apps, and i want to add a custom icon to a folder but you cant.

could we see an update that allows you to also make a folder a custom icon

yes you can.... In screenshot 1: Long press on the Folder, select edit, ScreenShot 2: then tap the actual picture of the folder. ScreenShot 3: pick which icon from the icon location you want to choose for your pic :)
here you go... pics and all to show you how

Just Flashed 36, went through the main settings, havent noticed anything new for us, the gerrit codes looked promising (some cool status bar tweaks and framework changes) BUT guess they weren't for us. Gnight yall... see yins in the morning, bout 7:30am :)

Guess they are still working more on whatever bugs left on the incredible then.

My 1st CM splash screen :)

SOOOOO... my first splash and its for us CM users :) I cant take all the credit becuase I was unable to completely get it into .zip format with both required folders (long story and Im still learning and someone at XDA had to help me) but here it is. I will take credit for the somewhat design of it though and the hrs spent making it, and I just tested it and it DOES work... :) if you like it or use it just hit my thanks button ;)

To install a splash1, rename the file to PB31IMG.zip if it isn't already(which it is), put in the root of your sd card, reboot into hboot, press volume up to confirm the install, and you'll have a new splash screen. :)

Hey guys, glad to see everyone is still around! Or at least back to CM7, you traitors;) I've still been keeping up on the nightlies as best I can. Work and school are both going well for me, as is my new housing situation. Hope everyone is doing alright!

I doubt there will be many, if any Dinc specific changes from here on out, as our device seems perfectly stable. The only thing holding them back from an official 'Stable' release is most likely other devices. After the official drops, we will hopefully see some new features added. I'm already looking forward to CM7.1!

I have added a new Tiamat kernel to the OP, feel free to check it out guys. I am still doing so good with Incredikernel I have no reason to switch! Also, I've added the MIUI Camera app under the newly renamed 'Themes & Apps' section of the OP. I have updated the link to the Gapps for new users or for those who decide to do a full wipe. Speaking of full wipes, I'm still going strong without one!

I have a question? I am using CM7 RC4 #34. Is there a way to get different calendar widgets? Also what about the stock HTC Desire clock like Myn's 2.2 has?
