[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

I use picasa picture pro through gmail, When you are in your gmail account you click on photos and then your dropbox, Then on the right hand side of the screen Click on link image only then you choose your size and then copy that url and then follow the directions pville gave you, that is how I do it there maybe other ways. I love picasa especially for doing screenshots of my phone I just use the upload feature for the phone app

I just have a ten yr old photobucket acct. Upload the pic, copy the img code, and follow pvilles instructions.

I'm not sure how photobucket works but picasa gives you the ability to choose sizes of the embedded pics that you want to use... I love picasa, Links directly with your gmail account - Under the photos button, It also works extremely well with the shoot me application... does Photobucket have an app for android

Wanda and Zero - there should be either a link or option to show BB Code - from there you can extract the URL for the Pic it will look something like src="http://blah.blah.blah.com/123/456/789.jpg" The URL between the " "'s is what you want to copy and paste into the Insert Image dialog box.

Also you could Right click on the pic - select Properties and then copy and paste the source url from the properties.

This Splash screen was made by Zero Neck... I assisted by putting it into ZIP format for him, since he uses a mac and cant :) the zip is below the pic... and Don't forget to Rename the .zip file PB31IMG before you place on the root of your SD It's a really tight Splash screen if you ask me...IMO... make sure you thank Zero Neck for it... other Splashes are available on the thread I created called How To CREATE & SHARE Your very own Splash1 Screen in the *incredible Rooting, Roms, and Hacks* section

This'll be good for a laugh. On Friday, I switched to Skyraider 4.0 so I can use the sense camera for my daughter's 1st birthday, particularly for the 720p video recording. My wife was annoyed that I was "wasting time with that stupid phone" when we had a lot of stuff to do to get ready for the party, but I thought it'd be worth the minimal effort. I took the videos and such yesterday, but didn't have time to customize at all first (I even had the stupid HTC live wallpaper :p).

As things settles down, I was looking over the videos and realized that they weren't high def. I went to look back at the camera, and saw that the default video format wasn't 720p... Oh, well, back to CM7 for me.

It does take 720p tho. The camera is alot better than cm7s

I did know that it took 720p, but it wasn't the default and I didn't think to change any settings at all until later. The sense camera is much better than CM7, and is really the only thing I like better about sense. However, for daily use (and with the MIUI camera), the difference is small enough that I'll take the more streamlined, up to date system in a heartbeat.

I'm not exactly a fan of Sense but I'll admit that the HTC camera is pretty great, far better then the stock camera. And since I can never get the MIUI camera to work (whenever I try to take a picture the MIUI camera freezes then reboots my phone) I'm stuck with the stock camera. That being said 720p on the Dinc never really impressed me. The video looks fine but the audio is horrible. So I'm perfectly fine sticking with CM7 and using my iPod touch for 720p video.

I've been using Vignette for my Camera for a long time. Takes nice pics but I've noticed that the auto focus on CM7 is not like it was with Sense even with Vignette. Takes a little more patience then before but it's not a deal killer since I rarely use my camera on the phone and when I do it's for stuff that I can take my time on.

So #69 is up and now that Mothers Day is over and I can properly re-focus my attention where it belongs ;) - anyone notice the profile bug fixes or the improvements in Auto Brightness?

I am using CM7 Build #68, but I have been having an issue ever since I installed my first nightly prior to RC1. I have always just ignored it, but it is kind of annoying and if there is a simple fix... I might as well see if I can find it.

The haptic feedback only works when it wants to- which is about 65% of the time. Do the phone vibration settings and the CM7 vibration settings mess each other up? I have vibration set to always on in both settings and it is just a bit annoying when it decides to not function properly.

Thanks.

Is there a reception or something... Open bar? ;) LOL
