Mine just used to have random shut downs with 1.1. Random force close on the new build but seems much better. Anything I should look into? Maybe a cache wipe?
ROM seems great - although WiFi seems to cut in and out though - did a clean wipe before installation...
my phone used to reboot until i updated to vh. im guessing its an app or your live wp or something.
i mean the last cm vd rom i was using had random reboots all the time which was my main motivation for jumping to this rom when it came out.
i havnt had a single random reboot on yours.
I would agree with you there but on the same note I am not ready to discount anything after Sprint made there disclosure of the known issues (which dont affect everyone). In other words, you never know... But honestly, I dont think its a ROM issue at this time.
On a diff note, any one try Drews new V4 kernel?
Running it for the last couple hours with no problems, I fixed my gps issues from earlier as well with a few reboots.

Are you saying you are getting force closes now or with 1.1? Either way, nothing changed between the two versions except a couple minor things.
anyone try out the new gingerkernel v4? i have tried but get stuck on lg bootup screen but some people there say they have it working with grom 1.1 and 1.1.5. They say you have to wope cache and davlik cache prior to flashing the kernel but i have had no luck.

Tried the kernel.. had 3 RANDOM REBOOTS in under 1 hour. good thing i made a backup prior to installing it
. or i wouldn't have been to happy having to reflash the ROM just for the original kernel.. as for right now. ill just keep the INCLUDED KERNEL. never been one to want or care for 1. but figured i'd try. but the REBOOTS killed me.. since i was in da middle of something.
I am running the V4 gingerkernal @806 without any problems, the only thing I did was to clear dalvik cache before flashing. I actually had random reboots with the stock one a few times so expect them with this one as well.
I flashed the kernel this morning. I dialed back the oc a bit, but no problem as of yet. Running nice and smooth. No reboots or screen problems.Interesting.... See below
That is interesting as well... If I have the time today I will test it out myself and provide my feedback. Any other feedback is certainly welcome.
From what I read in the kernel thread it has been rebuilt from ground up and has resolved that touchscreen issue that was surfacing earlier.
