Where is the download link boss?
Clicking on download takes me to your homepage and clicking on gROM takes me to its page but my blind eyes fail to locate the download link :(

EDIT: Found it :|

Spotify is a subscription streaming radio app, kind of a cross between Pandora and last.fm.

Decided to try out Drew's newest kernel. Using G-rom 2.1
Made a backup, flashed the zip file, rebooted. Did not clear cache.

On first reboot SD card was missing. Phone knew it was there, but I couldnt mount it. Had to remove, reinsert, mount. That worked.

Phone didnt like OC greater than 768. Crashed on me.

While at the gym, I was playing music using the android music player. Music was skipping but I ignored it. I went to change a song and noticed the display touch was not working. I could turn on the display, hold power button and see the power off menu, etc, but touch was completely not working. Had to pull battery to get phone to work again.

Touch screen sensation was ok. I did not get any double taps or too much sensitivity out of the touch screen. Ive had no graphics glitches on the display either with stock grom or with new kernel.

Restored backup. Either I needed to clear cache/dalvic or new kernel doesnt play nice with g-rom 2.1.

Side note. When I installed VZH and grom I had bad touchscreen sensitivity. This has gotten a lot better over time to the point that I barely get any double taps.

I tried Drew's new kernel too. I had the same issue with the SD card, but after the first boot the problem went away. I didn't get any of the other problems, but I am on GROM 2.2.

Scrosler, what's in the works for that new release you mentioned?

This happened to me one time with gROM 2.2 and Drew's new v07 kernel. Physical buttons worked and lit up, but screen would not register taps. Had to pull battery. Honestly, this happens to me about once a month anyway (zvd, zvh, stock kernel, custom kernel, on two different phones), so I'm not sure if it was kernel related. Also might note that I have my cpu software set my processor back to 600 at bootup, so I'm not overclocked. Not sure if that matters at all.

Just flashed the 7.1 Gingerkernel

Market doesn't seem to want to load app pages (Crash)
Music Player doesn't want to open (Crash)
An existing app i had, MoboPlayer refused to play anything (Crash)
The hardware camera button no longer has any effect
Voice dialer activity crashes a few seconds after pressing the hardware button

So much fun.

Double tap issues are fixed though =D

Try wiping the cache and the dalvik. Report back.

I'll test on my end too. But at work for the next couple hours.

I think thats an issue with the ZVH upgrade that ultimately led to its demise with Sprint. IM not 100% sure but lets see what other say.

Yes, I often couldn't get the phone to charge while on ZVH. The only sure-fire way to charge was to turn the phone off--although that admittedly defeats the purpose of a cell phone! I have since switched back to ZVD (and sROM) and haven't looked back.

Issues I experienced with ZVH: Phone randomly won't charge & nonstop SD card removal issues (exactly like the original V9 software) which also lock-up the phone for a few seconds. I know others who have reported reduced battery life on ZVH, too.

Issues I've experienced with ZVD: it seems that (for some reason) the phone occasionally switches from EV-DO to 1x (in EV-DO areas) & the screen randomly acts up by becoming extremely touch-sensitive.

So as you can see, both versions have quirks but I think that ZVD is far more stable, overall. sROM (also made by scrosler) is the best ZVD rom, IMO, if you decide to revert back.

You mean sROM is best ZVD ROM? ;)

BUt yeah... The touch screen issue has been officailly fixed by Drew with his 7.1 Kernel. Give it a try and see how it works for you if you are still on ZVH.
