Calling my voicemail and just letting it sit and repeat the menu over and over is good enough to test for call drops right?

The quick fix for battery that I posted has mixed results. This helps with the battery but by no means solves it completely. Some will see some success, some wont see it at all.

Dark_knight2, for me, deep sleep is only achieved when I am connected to a wifi network. So i think my tweak may be good for wifi connection

im thinking about giving cm10 a try.,.... i know last time the sound wasnt working when i got calls... and the vibration is weak... is that fixed?

Is there anyway we can help with the radio interface specifically? Certain logs, or something. If that was fixed in beta 4 or 5, this would be my daily driver! Other than the fact that I could ONLY make a call withing 5 mins of startup, the rom is smooooooth.

Granted I can only have this flashed for about 30 mins at a time, since I can't really walk out of the house with no service

go to the market and install signal speed booster. run app, which helps prevent los for a bit.

I also read on XDA that turning all location based options off helps too.

After about an hour LOS was bad I'm back on my old daily till the Los issue is resolved. Almost ready for a daily rom. Battery improved but still drains.

Overall I had better usage results with low rider gaps 5.4.1 over dk gapps. Everything ran smoother.

I would like to know also.

Just FTR: If I flash EL26CWM in the built-in CWM6 recovery, does the el26 kernel immediately become active(so I can flash again safely)? Or do I have to flash it then somehow reboot recovery for it to become active?

Its a known issue with the kernel and LOS is also kernel related. The rom part is pretty much rock solid.

Weird I have never experienced los in any builds ever
5 hours time % w out signal is at 0%

I followed all the steps, one by one, everything seems fine except for SMS, can't send, it fails. Thoughts?
Also, when I connect the phone to my PC, the external USB won't load. Maybe this is a known issue, my apologies if that's the case.

I was on FE22, just updated to FF18 and now SMS works! external card is still not loading though.
