do you run an app called MR NUMBER? if so for some reason its not compatible to this. once i deleted the app (which i really liked that app) i was able to answer the calls with the ring lock thingy.
there is also i fix out there to. if not running the MR NUMBER app.

I don't have that app and I tried the fix, but it still happens. It's so random. Most of the time I have my bluetooth on so I can answer the call with that.

what camera apk is this? Where can I find it?

coming from DasBamf 2.1Remix (or 3.0RC4.9), it had an updated camera apk with the panorama/HD capture.

i got my brother (dInc ROM Synergy nightly) to send me his apk with those features.

i was surprised at how much i actually used the panoramic feature of the updated camera. kind of wish it were included in this ROM.

by the way--after calibrating the battery, i'm actually getting WORSE battery life than the awesome battery life i was experiencing just after flashing. odd.

EDIT: Been playing with this for the last couple hours and it's just too laggy for my taste. I'm gonna try the non-3D one and see how it is, because battery life is gooood.

I noticed something today that I was wondering if any other users noticed this? Has anyone noticed that if you answer the phone from the lock screen the user cant hear you for about 10 seconds but if the device is unlocked and is answered this doesn't happen?

I noticed something today that I was wondering if any other users noticed this? Has anyone noticed that if you answer the phone from the lock screen the user cant hear you for about 10 seconds but if the device is unlocked and is answered this doesn't happen?

I have noticed this as well although the delay for me is only a few seconds.

Actually that is correct on the amount of time but it seem longer when I wasn't expecting the pause but after having a friend call and I counted into the headset when answered and asked at what number she started hearing me it ended up being around 4 seconds... This isn't as bad when you expect it so now that I know I should be ok..

Glad to know it just wasn't me going crazy.

terrible experience with this rom... i did a full wipe of data, cache and dalvik, and formatted system before installing and it was fine at first then kept freezing... i do battery pull then reboot and once it gets to lock screen the screen goes black and phone shuts back off and i cant turn it on again unless i do a battery pull... any advice/help would be much appreciated...thanks

i've noticed this, too--but only in one scenario.

it's only happened to me when i've had something plugged into the headphone jack & a call is received.
for example, cassette adapter in the car with music on the phone. it's playing, playing, phone call comes in--unplug the headset, answer the call, caller can't hear me for X amount of seconds.

i've never had it happen when i've not been using the headphone jack.


ALSO: after wiping the battery stats, i've gotten noticeably worse battery life on this ROM. i wouldn't suggest doing it.
i loaded another ROM for a few hours, then flashed the original .zip of this ROM to start fresh & my battery life is back to awesome. as usual, YMMV

Believe there's a bug where it assumes anything plugged into the headset jack has a built-in mic.

That is strange because other than the answer delay and not having stock mobile hotspot (Not a bug just a wish list) the rom has been perfect for me, havent seem any lags, reboot or freezing.

(even after using the search function for 'end call')

but i just started having the issue of not being able to answer a call from the lock screen (unlock the screen, automatically presses 'end call' instead of initiating the call)

any solid fix for this? or is this an intermittent problem with users?

It is an intermittent problem. They are working on a fix.

kind of an issue more than any other part---due to it being a core function of the phone to answer calls

still, best ROM i've used so far. looking forward to Beta VII

I haven't had this happen yet. I wonder if its because I answer calls by sliding the answer option to the ring instead of sliding the ring to unlock.

None of apps have downloaded from the Maketplace.

Is this normal? Every BAMF rom I flashed downloaded all of apps automatically. When I go into the marketplace>settings>my apps only shows 5.

Should I wipe user settings, cache, and dalvik x3 and reinstall from zip?

Md5 matched before I installed.

this was annoying for me, as well, having come from BAMF for the past few months.

but the BAMF ROMs are based off a different leak with a different version of Sense (different Sense Version, which--i believe-- is the reason that the Gingeritis ROM isn't loading your marketplace apps automatically). BAMF was based off the Shooter port, no clue what this Gingeritis is technically based off of. but i think the Shooter version had an updated Sense which linked your gmail to your market to automatically install the apps upon setting up the phone.
(if i'm mistaken, please correct)

best you can do is use TitaniumBackup to install all your apps/data again (no system apps/data, of course)--or go to the marketplace website & push them all from there.

So with that being said I'm going back to Bamf 3.0 RC 4.9.

i noticed that also - mlb at bat and several other apps just don't appear in the market. i have been meaning to clear the data for the new market and replace it with the old market, but haven't done it yet. my titanium backup of mlb app worked just fine, also.
