Question, chingy do you read all these forums and questions on the good and the bad and make changes to roll out an update to the issues or concerns? Like for example version VI had a way better battery life than this version. Do you look into the issues and make updates and such? Just curious. I really like this ROM. Either VI or VII. VI had great battery life. best I have ever had since day one of owning this.

XDA, RootzWiki, and his own TheMikMik... my guess is he is pretty busy on all three of those sites and sees the major issues that people are reporting... I don't think I've seen him post here yet.

I flashed this ROM yesterday evening... I'll have to try a few things... so far it looks good... no issues found, but I need dig a bit deeper.

I really did enjoy VI before I switched over to CM7.

I'm not sure I understand why everybody is saying this has such a bad battery compared to VI... I'm just over 4 hrs on battery (stock battery) with Wifi On... using 1.39.00.0627r Radio... and I have 96% battery life, with only about 10 minutes of display time, which is very light, but it is Saturday.

6 hrs... 92% battery life... I'm very happy!!!

Also, tested the with a phone call... no issues... drag the answer circle into the ring, worked like a charm. I'm also happy to the NFL app works with this ROM... after all the NFL preseason has begun.

I didn't have the call answer problem until VII, so I'm back on VI. Plus VI gives me a little better battery life...not that VII was that bad.

What I have noticed with the answer call issue is I get the option to answer for about second then it disappears.

I have noticing poorer battery life and it seem to take a ling time for my screen to wake before a call. I'm gonna go back to VI to really compare.

I'll try out another call test later today... but here is a screen shot of my battery life after one day... it might not be as good as VI, but it's still not bad. Wifi On all day, a few trips away from the house, including an evening dinner out... a few apps, at least one Market download, and some phone tests... and running 1.39.00.0627r Radio.

been back on this for a day now and did a full charge, calibrated battery and letting it die out and will wait a few days to see if the "good" life comes back. i have noticed on this ROM version and the other version at times the battery gets real hot
i think maybe i need a fresh new battery, this one has been charged so many times it might just be done with

If you are damaging your battery by "letting it die out" then I would agree you might need a new battery... if that is what you are referring to by saying "letting it die out." You should never let your battery die... keeping it charged will never hurt your battery, but fully discharging it will hurt it.

******* TIP: ScreenShot is built into this ROM. Start by pressing down and holding the Power button, then press the Home button... then let go of both before you get the reboot menu... a message will show up on the screen... it places the image in your standard camera folder on your SD card under "dcim" folder in a sub-folder called Screenshots.

This ROM is very very nice! I have been messing with it all day long and the only bug I found was the no voice mail notification one. Everything else works fine. (Btw, I didn't try the my verizon app, since I have unlimited I see no reason to have it so in all fairness, I don't know if it works). Came from BAMF Sense3-RC4.9. Now it's time to see how long the battery lasts. Nice job so far. Thanks for your hard work.

If you are damaging your battery by "letting it die out" then I would agree you might need a new battery... if that is what you are referring to by saying "letting it die out." I don't care who is making that recommendation, I will NEVER fully discharge these new batteries. It's been know that this is not good for these batteries. It damages them.

And I guess this might backup some of my last statement... here is a 2 DAY battery test... with 31% battery life left... Gingeritis VII ROM on a Stock Battery, with Wifi On, with normal use during the weekend (starting Monday morning at approx 8am-CST), stock kernel, and no real special tweaks (just normal, like Facebook sync to 4hrs) and ending right now... I was using 1.39.00.0627r Radio. I could go longer, but I think 2 full days is good enough.

Part of my normal use includes testing the phone in sleep mode, and in wake mode... also Beautiful Widget's Weather refreshes on Wake... and it's sync'ing 3 Gmail accounts with calendar, contacts & Google+ on my primary account.

Has anyone had any issues with the battery only charging to a certain point? Mine is stuck at 77% and wont go any further? I can charge it all night and that is a good as it gets....
