Re: [ROM] Opti-ROM v1.1 built-in apps2sd, storage management, OCa

Thank you for the advice. I tested it but to no avail. I really enjoy this rom and would hate to go backwards but i might have to

Thanks for liking the Rom. :) To make up for the a2sd, there is a thread on data2ext with a couple of different options... It's not as easy as typing the command. There are a couple different flash files to choose from depending on what you want to do... Good luck! Let us know how it works out for you. (Btw, cm7 works great with the apps2sd, etc... I should mention that WITH THE RIGHT KERNEL, it works great with cm7 ;))

Is there an easy way to find out what is moved to sd (apps, cache, data, dalvik...) I know I moved 2 things, but see my internal still depleting slowly. If I can find out what I moved into can go from there.. Thank you.

Did you update and root your phone to zvh first? This rom and radio will not work with zvd radio.

It properly wipes the phone to be flashed with a rom.

I alway in recovery wipe data/factory reset, under advanced wipe davlik, under mounts format system, then flash the debug zip, then finally flash the rom and gapps. Some of that may be slightly redundant, but the cleaner the wipe the better, just be sure you get every thing properly wiped first.

When flashing any rom its always best to flash the systemdebug.zip. Especially when swapping between roms.

Re: [ROM] Opti-ROM v1.1 built-in apps2sd, storage management, OCa

DO NOT USE THE GUI FROM THE MARKET!

a little confused about that. do you mean dont go to the market at all?

Re: [ROM] Opti-ROM v1.1 built-in apps2sd, storage management, OCa

He meant don't use the apps2sd GUI that's in the market. Just do the apps2sd commands in terminal.

Re: [ROM] Opti-ROM v1.1 built-in apps2sd, storage management, OCa

Im using opti-rom zvh, with gingerkernel my phone cont. to freezes up most of the time when im playing this game my country never happened before the root. my question is...what can i do to stop this from happing...everything i do is basically trial n error...im thinking of using the stock kernel in this thread. if anyone thinks i should use a different kernel or any other ideas i would gladly consider and most likely give it a shot.....thanks in advance

I have a question that may be a noob question. I'm running opti-rom and I want to update my profile. Is that a problem?

No issues there. Would only be a problem if you were on CM7 or some ROM not based on an official build. :p

Ok now I've got something strange going on. I wiped my battery stats in recovery Monday at 9:00pm, left phone on all night and day, it's still showing 55%. Also, I've checked my battery use periodically and every time it's always between 55min or 1h on this charge. Also, time since last charge shows same. However, I do have a battery app that is showing the correct time and it shows 55% left also. I guess my question is does anyone here ever had this happen, and how can I fix the time? Also, is my battery going to run completely dead because the phone doesn't think it's low?

Just to let you know, I've had data, gps, and sync on the whole time.

Sounds to good to be true. Lol!!

Thanks for any help.
