AHA - I am having a bug with my power button. Short press, locks the phone no problem. Long press - no pop up menu, no nothing, phone actually freezes for a few seconds, un-freezes, then just reboots. Not a big deal since that is most of the time what i want it to do, but it certainly seems to be not right.

Any ideas???

im assuming since you're posting in this thread that you flashed adrynalyne's sc.4 ROM...did you flash either of the theme hax?

if so i would try re-flashing that, and maybe the kernel as well. you might try flashing the test 3 sv nv 01/16 kernel in the OP; its what im running currently and it works just fine.

And still having the gps issue, won't lock on.

Yeah you flashed something incompatible. Flash the theme fix.

Hey question about the OP, it says we have to apply a theme hack if we want to use a dl05 theme, but what if its a dl09 theme from rom manager? does this still need to be applied, such as the theme in sonofskywalker, or can we only use themes from the jt section

OK obviously I don't know what I am doing because I keep running into the same problem. I cannot flash anything via CWM. I was told this is because we cannot use Recovery 2e or whatever so I flashed CWM via from the sticky Adrynalyne posted on the forum but that didn't do anything.

Obviously I am doing something wrong but I just cannot figure it out.

I flashed D101 via odin, updated to DL09 OTA then rooted. I downloaded CWM from the market and tried to flash the rom, didn't work, same with test 3 kernel.

I tried flashing the CWM via odin from the sticky, still same problem.

Can somebody please give me a step by step as to what I need to do to get CWM working the way it is supposed to. I thought I followed the steps correctly but obviously I have not.

need help with installing this rom i rooted the phone installed the rom manager flashed it put the rom on my sd card clicked the option to install the rom from the sd card. it looked of till it got to the part when the phone was unpacking the file and then in red font is stopped and said failed to open the file . I tried it like 4 times i also was going to use odin but when i clicked PDA i couldn't see the file to use with odin.. I use to do lots of rom installed when i had my droid and no problem. HELP!!!

By the way the new update SUCKS!!! gps still don't work, looks like we need to do what we need to do to get a working Phone..

I flashed again with a fresh flash, wipe and clear, still no text messages are coming through . I get calls and data however.
I'm having the same bluetooth issue as decaydance99 as well.

What kernel are you using? I use handcent but I have no issues with bT or SMS. You will need a kernel change unless you are coming from a DJ05 rom/kernel.

This is the only issue I am having with this ROM. I reflashed but it did not fix anything. It's not critical to me. So far I'm loving it...

Posted this elsewhere, but whereas I'm using this ROM, I thought I'd post here to let others know...

I liked the stock calculator, clock, and Thinkfree Office that came on the Fascinate, so I used Rom Manager to install them.

Ok, tried it... and glad I took the time to do a backup.

Like killahamsammich (really, where do you people come up with these names ), the countdown alarm is silent on the super clean rom.

Also, Thinkfree Office does not show up as an option when I try to preview a doc in email. Yes, I activated it for "this device"

and fyi - on BOTH calculators, I entered "9+6*3" and got "27"!? Really?!

Adrynalyne - have you ever seen the policy modification to remove the full battery pop up? Looking at doing this manually but I assume any new rom will wipe out the change. Does anyone even want that pop up?

Yes I did. I also know that it worked after the OTA update. I rooted/flashed after the update to this ROM....

uh... because that is right?!?!? 6*3=18 18+9=27 Multiplication and then addition is the way I was taught.

Sadly, I was thinking 9*(18), instead of what I wrote, 9+(18).

Sad...so sad. Kid you not, I got into Mensa with my math skills.

ps - Did you read my issues with the original clock on this ROM? Unfortunately, this makes the original clock a failure for me.
