The first download link is just the rom right? and first we have to flash the modem through odin correct, but where can i find that?

how do i kno which is which and i tried that and it came up with a triangle and the droid man . did a battery pull
i think it is the blue one assumning the letters are blue and can i keep the stock kernnal and all that stuff

If you want to install DL09, you first have to flash the DL09 moden/radio using odin. and then u can flash the rom and kernel with CWM. You do have CWM installed on your phone right?

yea i do and i have dl09 as well so i dont know whats going on why i can get in to the recovery of cwm do i have to goback to stock and redo everything

turn off your phone. hold both up and down volume keys at the same time and press and release the power button, continue holding he volume keys. if u boot up normally do it again, when pressing the power button hold it for like 2 seconds.

Ive never had that problem, sometimes it goes into the green CWM recovery automatically but when it doesn't and it goes to the blue letter one, i just apply update.zip which is like the first option down and it takes me to the green one, goodluck.

I was having this issue last night. Here is what I did. Right after you install cwmrecovery, don't let it boot up. Boot into recovery (blue) apply the sdcard:update.zip, (changes to green) then install the other zip file and lastly install a new kernel. after all of that is done. Then allow it to reboot. Then going forward you will be able to get into CWM.

It will work until the next time you boot. I ran into that too. It was something I missed on the first post. Something about the original samsung kernel removes the cwmrecovery after a full boot and the only way to get over that is to flash a new one.

Let me know if you find that too. I think it is only the case if you got the DL09 OTA though.

everything worked fine for me got superclean .4 and kernel 12/30 now gonna see how batterylife is so far phone seems fast

would like to know if i can have mutiple roms on the phone incase i get bored i can go to another one and once i do a rom back up in rom manager can i delte the file off the sd card

You can put multiple roms on your sd card. Since most roms for the SF are pretty similar, I can't imagine you would want to switch alot. Maybe look at themes. There are quite a few themes on Xda now.
