[ROM]Superclean 2.8!! *UPDATED*

I have two observations.

1. DISCLAIMER - As I have never used one of these updates before this may not be new. - If you long press the App Drawer thumbnails of all your screens come up and you can select one and go directly to it.

2. My phones Menu & Home keys do not function at all. Is anyone else having the same experience?

Tried 1.0 for about 20 minutes - had to revert back to .8 - The long press reboot issue is hanging me up. No theme installed. ADW Launcher installed..

Ok so at least I'm not the only one having a weirdness there. Still having the occasional won't-wake-up bug too (just hit while I was typing, actually).

I d/led an app to let me choose how to power off, everything else seems great on this version outside of that power button long press/reboot thing. I might roll back to my stable .8, but really I like the dialer and other improvements so I may just roll with this until tomorrow, when there will probably be several more flavors to try.

ok i used the new green cwm and i was able to get passed the samsung logo...

Using 1.0 no problem whatsoever. Battery life is great.

i havent had any problems out of 1.0. had the not waking up thing on .8. didnt have .9 up long enough to finish tb before flashing 1.0, so couldnt tell you anything about that one. 1 is running great though.

hey adrynalyne, i love this rom. i have one request, AFTER you sleep of course, is there any way to get the full gapps package instead of some of the tw stuff. i like the google car app and especially the calendar.

My battery life is being sucked down by some unknown force. Even before I reinstalled my apps. Not to mention flash is not working. I am still tinkering with it to figure it out . Will let you know if I find anything that will be of help to you or anyone else.

Did you flash the accurate battery zip? That was the only add-on that I did and right after that things got weird.

You just nailed it. I went back to my stable .8 and then remembered why I flashed the battery fix... flashed it again and BOOM - there is the long press power bug. This time on .8

I think we've got this one figured out. I'm going to restore my good .8 and then re-flash 1.0 over it. I'll skip the battery fix this time!

Kinda figured it had to do with something incompatible with the 1.0 power button in some way - had this same issue with 0.4 on DL-09.. I may go back to one-oh tomorrow.

Here is another question.....
There is a widget on the 4th screen with 5 icons at the top.
I can figure most of them but not sure what the one 2nd from the right is used for. Looks like a Sync icon but again, not sure how it would be used.

You are looking at the power control widget.. the second from the right is the 3G data connection switch... turn it off and you have a phone but no connection to the Internet.

Thats the power management widget... Doesnt it look a lot like the function bar in the notification windowshade? Yep, same thing. It's to turn on/off mobile data sync as a group (say if you knew you were going to be in BFE where data was hard to come by).

Not completely confirmed but I can gather that all my phones functions were there prior to flashing that mod. Upon flashing the DL30PercentBatt.zip file - the long-press-power function causes some haptic feedback and rebooted..

It appears that mod is incompatible with superclean v1.0
