You are looking at the power control widget.. the second from the right is the 3G data connection switch... turn it off and you have a phone but no connection to the Internet.

Thats the power management widget... Doesnt it look a lot like the function bar in the notification windowshade? Yep, same thing. It's to turn on/off mobile data sync as a group (say if you knew you were going to be in BFE where data was hard to come by).

I was wondering why all my accounts were set Sync Off! Thanks!!

Here is my last comment for the night. DL30 had an option to hold the back key and press the power button and it would take a screen capture. This build does not have it. :-( It was a VERY cool feature.

Not completely confirmed but I can gather that all my phones functions were there prior to flashing that mod. Upon flashing the DL30PercentBatt.zip file - the long-press-power function causes some haptic feedback and rebooted..

It appears that mod is incompatible with superclean v1.0

I can confirm. Just re-flashed my safe v.8 nandroid bak (pre-battery fix) with no errors. Upgraded to 1.0 (no battery mod) and it's smokin' - with all power options intact. It was the battery mod for sure that was causing problems.

I would definitely stay away from DL30PercentBatt.zip if you are running any current SuperClean ROM.

I don't think you would have been able to take the red bull away from adrynalyne because he didn't have one. At the rate he was going he must have had an IV line stuck in a vein constantly pumping the red bull.

And to answer the question earlier about the difference in the old and new green cwm, I found the answer at xda. Apparently the old cwm will not work once you have flashed to froyo. You will not be able to flash anything through the old green cwm once you are on Froyo. So it would seem you can flash to Froyo with the old green cwm, but will not able to flash anything after that until you have the new green cwm. Fortunately for us, Adrynalyne included the new cwm in his super clean.

Oh, and also if I'm understanding this correctly once you flash super clean you now have the new cwm as it replaces the old. So anything you flash from this point on while you are running super clean will be through the new green cwm. If, that is, I'm beginning to understand this.

I'm still on .8, i updated the dialer mod... is there a reason to rewipe data and upgrade to 1.0 yet? I'm impressed with how fast the upgrades are coming haha (no complaints here)

You shouldn't need to wipe data between versions of this rom...but always have a nandroid

My first comment of the day.

I noticed that the music player that come with this build does not integrate into the lock screen. I am too new to know if it is the actual player and not a limitation of the this particular lock screen. I am going to add the stock player, go to the gym and test it out. Will report back later.

The battery mod that I listed in the previous post DL30PercentBatt.zip causes the phone to exhibit; haptic feedback, lock up and reboot when you long press the power button to get the drop down menu.

I have not had it reduce the battery life on the phone. I would avoid battery mods on this ROM unless someone can confirm that; dl30_reboot_batt.zip works and does not cause any issues.

Edit: I could not get dl30_reboot_batt.zip to produce the same results. I know that theme makers do test their builds on different ROMs. I have not seen any of the current themes create the same results.

i have the superdark froyo v1 theme on, and that gives you the battery percent in the notification bar, and i have not had any issues with it. plus it looks sexy!

I ran the superdark for a couple of hours until the jacked-up keypad got the better of my OCD.. I could not handle the #3 key 'EDF' - Should be 'DEF'.. Flashed Adrynalyne's keypad fix on it and that overwrote that part of the theme... I will go back to using themes when the themers get the keyboard fix in place.

I have noticed that a lot of the themes have this keyboard. Midnight does not.

Is there any way to get the Samsung stock messaging app (SMS and MMS). I like the way it displays with the conversation bubbles. Call me goofy. I also like to Samsung stock clock with the timer and countdown options. Is it possible to load just these two apps?

FYI folks, I was messing around and trying to nail down the sleep bug (put the phone to sleep but never unlocks) and I switched the check mark from Puzzle to Glass Unlock and I haven't seen a lockup since. It's still the stock FroYo slider lock screen regardless of which option I choose, but the Glass Unlock seems to work, whereas the original Puzzle (replaced by the OEM slider lock in Adryn's SC) seemed to occasionally lock up, or at least act like it was trying to call the Puzzle Lock and not finding it - thereby resulting in a black screen with no lock at all.

At least, that's my working theory at this point. And so far, so good!

I know myself and gunnermike have randomly seen this issues with the SuperCleans since about v7. If anyone else has, post it up and see if this helps eliminate it. I'm going on about 16 hrs and no lockups, before I was getting one every 2-3 hours. YMMV.

im not sure about that. i havent found it. i use a program from the market called handcent. you can make it look just like the stock app. i install that and delete completly the stock sms app.
