Kernels are all included.

For others, wipes should not be needed, unless funkyness insues.
Adrynalyne,
Sorry if the wipe suggestion was incorrect. You are definitely the expert, so basically if going from one version of superclean to another, we shouldn't need a wipe?

I tried this but it didn't work. It's the blue recovery btw. Do I gotta rename the 2.2 sc zip file to update.zip?
You will first get to the blue cwm. from there volume down one so apply sdcard:update.zip is highlighted, press the home key, that will take you into red cwm. From there scroll to install zip from sd card, but in red cwm you use the power button not the home key to make a selection.

Yes, please let me know, if that is the case, this just got a lot easier!!!

I really like how you can use the power button to take pics...I don't shake the cam as much now.

You can usually go from one version of a ROM to a different version of the same ROM without wiping everything and be OK.
Thanks, that's kind of what I got from what Adrynalyne said, but I'm no expert so I didn't want to say for sure one way or the other.

does 2.1 voodoo not support themes? trying to flash superdark, it flashes fine but when it boots no theme :(

good call, by "lashing correct" i meant it claimed it did, worked fine when i did it in CWM. First time using voodoo, is there i way to tell if it actually worked right, once in the ROM other than hearing the voices when it enables it

Type mount in adb. If you see ext4 partitions, then its on voodoo.

Grab quick boot from the market, or reboot from the power button to get to the correct cwm, then try reflashing once more.

Whats the name of the file?

it shows ext4 and the theme stuck, i was just wondering about the baseband

Update: re-flashed and it still comes up as Dl09 as the baseband

When I installed 2.1 the Market app tried to download pretty much every app I've downloaded in the last few months. When I wiped and installed 2.2 it tried to do it again. Does anyone know what is causing this? I went through and cancelled them but then it told me that they were partially installed.

I really only use a few apps and don't feel like loading and unloading them as I know I will be doing a lot of ROM flashing in the coming weeks. Thanks!
