thanks for the info, i downloaded DX's all in one, however, i can't get the option to extract the files. It's downloaded and doesn't appear after I click the pda button in odin.

Ellisz and Mackay, I found there is only one red cwm and it works with both voodoo and nonvoodoo. I am working on a how-to step by step to set up your phone so you go directly to red cwm when you go into recovery. I did the method I will post and I go directly to red cwm no matter what route I choose. Just want to test out a few things so I have answers to anyone's questions before I post the thread. Stay tuned.

I flashed the cwm_recovery_all.zip from xda last night. Booted to red recovery today with no problems. I am hoping the new clear battery stat.zip helps me tomorrow morning. I am lucky to get 8 hours with just emails happening. Display is my biggest drain and I have it all the way down

ellisz, glad to hear the red worked for you. I am currently testing out different things before I do a how-to thread on getting your phone to reboot directly to red no matter what method you choose. Need to have instructions for people who got to EB01 by flashing modem and ROM separately, for people who used DroidXcon's all-in-one ODIN method, and for people who are still at stock. Trying to think of all the different scenarios to put together a good, comprehensive how to.
Sorry you are still having battery life issues. Hopefully the battery stat.zip Adrynalyne posted works for you. I'll be crossing my fingers for you.

I thought that I should be able to change the setting to answer my call and When I set the unlock screen applies to phone call answering setting. Am I thinking wrong? or is there any way that I can change the answering phone call setting from puzzle to AOSP??
IF!!!! I have to use launcher pro2?? (not sure this is the right one) please instruct me how to do it

Quite a few people have been asking this question. Apparently there is no way to change the setting to answer your calls. When you have the unlock screen set to AOSP or rotary, the answer call option tied to them is the puzzle piece. If you want to answer calls with the AOSP lock slider, you have to have the glass slider as your screen unlock method.

Well you are not answering and i want to go to sleep,,,so if you are talking about the rain drops its just the wall paper.,,, set your wallpaper and thats what you will ... you can go to google and search images and putt raindrops the size is 400 x 800

the launcher is launcher 2. there is a patch for it on post 1. it comes with the rom. so you have it if you have sc2.4.

I never understood the fascination with launchers... I am using the "base" launcher included with 2.4 and can confirm it looks nothing like the screenshot of the "desktop" (Second cell from the left), i assume it is the result of a theme. I will probably be switching back to TW here soon, i just dont like being forced into having 5 screens and no control over the quick-icons at the bottom.

Also, has anyone else noticed the arc-swipe lock screen works about 10% of the time? Sure, it will unlock if i swipe it, but it will also unlock if i do just about anything (including but not limited to, ignoring a phone call when locked, hitting a softkey when locked, and unplugging from charger when locked)... Not much of a lock, it seems.

If you like the base launcher but want less, or more than 5 homescreens then you should try LauncherPro. You don't need a whole theme to make it look like the stock launcher. Just go into dock setting and change it. You can even find a gingerbread style dock and icons in addition to many more docks and icons here

On mine, if you so much as get your finger near the menu button it unlocks, which is turbo annoying. I havent noticed any lag in TW, but then the only widgets i ever use are weatherbug and power control, and i always have just 2-3 screens of icons. Its been a while since ive played with any launchers besides TW3 and the AOSP Launcher, maybe i will give LauncherPro a try before i drop the TW apk back on. The thing I love about TW3 is that it puts message counts on the SMS and email icons, which is nice since I try to avoid having to use the pulldown, it just always feels awkward to me that i have to unlock the phone with a gesture then commit more articulation getting that damn pulldown to work.
