I am getting them with exchange and the dialer (the first two things i tried) after doing an install over top of the DL09 superclean. I am thinking the phone needs a full wipe before this rom can be applied successfully.

Hah so OK apparently in Froyo it's not 'Dialer' anymore, it's 'Phone'. Pick the wrong one and you get iPhone functionality! (no calls)

OK... weirdness. I used the CWM red flash file from the other thread, to apply this ROM. First pass, no wipe, lots of stuff is duplicated/broken. Second pass, I went back to the red console, did a factory reset, wiped cache and dalvik, and re-installed the rom. Rebooted, same settings and everything! Like nothing was wiped!

Long story short: should this rom work OK being installed by CWM-red? And if so, what do i have to do to wipe the phone?

You can always flash back to DL01 and then do OTA. This is available on the forum.

Isn't Touchwiz needed for FB sync? I am guessing this is more aggressive than the DL09 clean? How about your Nuance patch ... will it load on DL30?

Also are the DJ05/DL09 kernels compatible?

That is correct. Likely you will be forced to do a stepped upgrade approach, if VZW and Samsung release this build to the masses.

Or you can just flash directly to DL09... makes more sense than flashing DI01 and the updating to DL09.

Adranalyne, does your ROM work via CMW-Red? I wasn't able to install the .zip as it said the directory wasn't valid. I flashed update.zip to get CWM green and up it went.
