No, i had read that the Battery fixes did not run right. So this one is good to run then?

I wouldn't run any battery fixes just yet..

but the not-responding power button, black screen, weird random buzzing and rebooting was something that we thought we had traced to a shared .zip file that was causing the issues on a couple of our phones..

if you are having it without doing any additional mods, then we might have something else on our hands. it certainly seems like there are more of us starting to have this sleep-bug than yesterday...

Oh, read that last post wrong. No the only thing i have done was Superclean DL30 and Midnight theme. But i was having the power button issue before i put the theme on. I figured as long as i don't long press the power button, which i really don't need to do, i can live with it till a newer Superclean comes along.

Oh and when I do have to pull battery/reboot i get a few FCs for my mail app right when it starts up, but it goes away.

Trying to narrow it down, I thought maybe my LP had something to do with it... went back to vanilla launcher, sleep for 8 minutes. Dead.

I'm wiping and flashing DL30_Leak.zip (full stock) as I type this.

Rebooting now and I'll report back after dinner with the wife if it has the same problem or not!

MonkeyGrass, I hate to hear you are having so many issues. The SuperClean builds and DL09 radio have worked great for me.

Just out of curiosity what radio(DJ05 or DL09) and CWR (red or green) are you using?

It may be worth while wiping you Davlik Cache and system data then starting fresh with a new download of version 1.0.

Curious... how many people are having this issue.

Personally, I am not.

SuperClean 1.0
Wiped Data
Wiped Cache (redundant?)
Wiped Dalvik Cache

Installed with green CWM
Reinstalled all apps from scratch with appbrain
No themes or boot/shutdown animations added
Nothing except my app added

issues (only one so far)
When loading gallery, some pictures have no thumbnails... that's it.

Love this version. Still wish I could get the stock clock to work right though, and I'm about to remove 95% of the ringtones before I do a backup.

Going to take a lot to get me to switch from this one. Runs like a dream.

im used odin to put green version on my phone, i changed the zip name to update and am trying to install and i get this:

E: Can't mount /dev/block/void/179:9
No Such file or directory
E: Can't mount SD Card:update.zip
Installation aborted

had same error with red..any tips?

also, any tips for backing up data...can i keep numbers, texts, apps, etc after an fresh install?

I have had the screen not wake up 2x. Both times happened in the morning after charging all night in Airplane mode. I wake up and take the phone off charge. I load a profile via quick profile and come out of airplane mode. I think I have to manually activate 3g now since the app won't do it. The screen will time out or I put it to sleep and it won't come back on. The soft keys will light if pressed but the screen won't come on. I have to pull the battery to get everything back.

All works fine otherwise.

Oh trust me, I triple wipe dalvik and cache, then system data before I start loading ROMS and kernels. Everything is done from a freshly restored factory phone. I guess I'm just due for a gremlin, comes with the territory every once in a while. I see I'm not the only one with long-press power and/or sleep-bugs, so I do think there might be something slightly wonky in one of the modified frameworks. I don't know the libraries involved, but it seems like the menu bar, power menu, and lock screen all seem to have some common objects or routines that when one gets modded, can cause issues with the power button/wake/lock screen.

I have been using the DL09 radio and the new green CWM.

I did another series of wipes and resets, loaded DL30_Leak.zip and have yet to see a problem. It's been about 4-5 hours and not a single lockup.

If this stays stable thru the night, I'll nandroid it tomorrow am, then start all over one more time, with a fresh DI01 restore -> DL09 -> SuperClean 1.0 and see if that will hold up. If that doesn't work I'll roll back to what's working now (full DL30_Leak) for the time being, and just wait until the new EB01 based ROM's come out. This is all just a stop-gap to official FroYo anyways!

My bad, EB01, not 02.

Latest FroYo test build sent out to testers this week.

Hopefully we'll see something of it soon. :)

your problems maybe do to cwm. have you flashed the new new cwm. this ones red. no voodoo support yet. its is supposed to fix the mounting problem. cwm was mounting stuff in the wrong place.

News of EB01 broke this morning on both of the other android forums I frequent. I'm not sure on what this particular forum's rules/regs on posting links to other sites are, but it's not exactly hard to find ;)

I've flashed the new green CWM, I've heard multiple reports of possible issues with the red. I have no problems getting into recovery or doing anything else related to CWM or flashing or restoring images ;)

Hey guys, I need some help, not sure what to do here.

I successfully rooted and installed ROM Manager (backing up isn't a problem, i don't have much i want to save). Not sure what to do after this step. Do I just place the zip file of the DL09 Super Clean ROM on my SD and click Install ROM from SD and that's it?

I tried clicking on the first option Flash ClockwordMod Recovery, but I get a message saying "An error occurred while downloading your recovery."

If I download the paid version, can I bypass having to do that and just install the ROM from SD? I can't sleep I want the ROM on my phone so bad :( lol.

you cant just flash clockwork recovery from rom manager you actually need to use odin

follow section 2 of this post,,, since you are rooted you can skip the su+busybox.zip

watch this video to help you through the process

Thanks Adryn for all your hard work. I am running DL30 1.0 and only have one issue.

When using the car cradle app in landscape mode, selecting the phone app cause a force close message for android.process.acore. This does not happen if the phone is in portrait mode. Anyone else experiencing this?

can someone post how to install this?..there are like 10 files and no instruction (for us noobs). i was able to install DL30 fine, but now getting this to work is proving difficult.

I flashed back to DL09..i start from scratch in odin with CMW, boot to blue screen to install green version and get errors there. a walkthrough in what basics need to be installed to get this running would be super helpful.

this may not be true. when cwm mounts roms and nandroids and anything else, it has a place to do this. well its putting in the wrong place. this can cause force closes, screen black outs, boot loops, usb mount issues just to name a few. everything may seem fine in cwm,, but its not. heck jt and adry missed it at first. give it a shot, whats the worst that could happen?

Any one else getting really bad battery life,my battery went down 8% in 45 mintues whats going on?
