Also, has anyone else noticed the arc-swipe lock screen works about 10% of the time? Sure, it will unlock if i swipe it, but it will also unlock if i do just about anything (including but not limited to, ignoring a phone call when locked, hitting a softkey when locked, and unplugging from charger when locked)... Not much of a lock, it seems.

I had not noticed this but just tested it and you are correct, I can touch the menu key and it unlocks phone. It also does this with AOSP screen lock, but not any of the others. The Epic, Glass and puzzle locks work as they should.

when i bring up google nav, it says waiting for location...it won't let me type or say my address.. been like that for 10 mins or so. i tried rebooting. is this a known issue with the rom? anything i can try?

Check your language settings...might be simple, but it could also be the problem.

nope, language is set correctly... what's even making it more weird, is that if I just click on the market, and click on apps, free, paid, etc, they are all "normal". It's only if I use the search functions.

I have noticed that only having Standalone GPS checked in Location & Security will slow down the GPS getting a lock the first time after a reboot. If I check on VZW Location and Google Location then GPS lock will happen with a minute. I will usually go back and uncheck VZW and Google after that initial GPS lock.

there is no stupid fast for froyo mr wiggles. there are only a couple of kernels available for 2.2 right now.

On mine, if you so much as get your finger near the menu button it unlocks, which is turbo annoying. I havent noticed any lag in TW, but then the only widgets i ever use are weatherbug and power control, and i always have just 2-3 screens of icons. Its been a while since ive played with any launchers besides TW3 and the AOSP Launcher, maybe i will give LauncherPro a try before i drop the TW apk back on. The thing I love about TW3 is that it puts message counts on the SMS and email icons, which is nice since I try to avoid having to use the pulldown, it just always feels awkward to me that i have to unlock the phone with a gesture then commit more articulation getting that damn pulldown to work.

there is a setting in launcher pro and adw to put the number of emails and texts on the icons.

flash a new kernel.

you can also open maps instead of nav. sometimes that works. i dont know why.

have not tried that one. i usually only have the problem after a new flash. i will give it a try next time.

clear cache on your market

This result was the same after a complete wipe of data and cache from inside cwm red. However after testing a few more things, I've come to the conclusion that it's only happening if search for Music Box Pro lol. Everything else seems to work fine. Weird no?

You didn't need to clear data/cash from cwm. Gunner suggested clearing cache ON YOUR MARKET. hit menu soft key go =>settings=>applications=>manage applications=>all, scroll to market and click on it. you will see some grey boxes. Two of those boxes are marked clear data and clear cache. If the clear cache one is lit up, press it.

But wanted to let folks now I am seeing better battery performance on EB01 SC 2.4 after running the bstat reset script manually (not from cwm) as posted by Adrynaline.. I getting crazy good (87% since unplugging 4 hours ago) - Contrast Min, Background and Autosync OFF..
