I did not wipe at all until going to DL30. Sometimes you get lucky. The nice thing is that with froyo, most apps are automatically re-installed for you. Appbrain does well with everything else.

Just back up game data and the like with titanium and you are good to go,

Yeah its the lite version. You just can't edit. If you like it then stick with it. I like docs to go but I can't say its any better, just different.

I have edited excel and word documents with the stock thinkfree office app. I very rarely use it but it comes in handy from time to time.

Ok I have the eb01 but now I want the super clean to see if I like it but lost of how to do it want do I download and do I flash it in cwm please someone brake it down for a dummy like me thanks.

If you launch the Thinkfree app, it will have you activate it the first time but that is all I have ever done. I was able to edit a word doc and and save it to my sd card yesterday.

I have the apk I removed from full release that I add to the app folder. That is all I have ever done.

You load SC 2.4 like any other rom. There are many walkthroughs in the stickies in this forum.

All you need to make sure of is that you have the red clock work recovery. Then flash the rom from your sd card. How did you get the full EB01?

how do I go about doing this? because every time I hit my voice mail.. or I dial 1 to get straight in, it takes me to google voice.

I would really consider using Google voice. It's a great free service compared to VZW's visual voice mail. You can also use it as a free text messaging service if you don't mind telling everyone you text to use your new Google voice number. It will also give you the ability to access your text messages and voice mail via your browser if you are away from your phone. Just a thought!

I'll keep that in mind... I'm not a big fan of the change to my voicemail... my phone is attached to my hip But I did figure it out.. I suspended the google voicemail and then I have to press and hold 1 to get in.. can't use the voicemail button by the dial... but that's ok.

The mirrors work fine for me, are you sure you have javascript allowed for mediafire and the related sites? Its not a direct file link (obviously) so you gotta get through the link and then start the download.

Should be able to receive voicemails through google voice from calls to your verizon number. Basically, you can use google voice as a visual voice mail without having to use your google voice number, but instead use your verizon number. Only negative might be, I am not sure you can get your voicemails through google voice from an outside regular phone (non internet), but I have never looked into that since I just use my android to check my messages.

I believe a mirror is another way to download a file. Sometimes a file, whether it be a ROM, theme, etc., will be so popular the download site gets overloaded with traffic of everyone trying to download the file. The mirror is another portal to use to download the file so everyone is not overloading the same path. And I believe I read somewhere some people have trouble downloading files from certain websites or for whatever reason. The mirror provides those people an alternate way they can download the file. If you will notice, the file names match the files they are below.

Anyone had issues with wifi running all the time? I have noticed bad battery life and after checking spare parts tonight, I see my wifi is running 100% of the time. I have also noticed the phone getting hot as well. This was happening on DL30 I believe as had the phone get hot with it as well.

I have always left wifi on but it should go to sleep when the phone does.

Go into Settings > Wireless and Networks > WiFi Settings > Advanced > WiFi Sleep Policy

From there you can set your wifi connection to go to sleep when your screen turns off.
