What is included in the 2.4 voodoo - is it just a voodoo kernel you install through red clockwork (after enabling voodoo) over a EB01 modem / rom or is it the modem, rom, and voodoo kernel? Thanks in advance.

no modem. if you have lag fix enabled already then just flash like normal. if no lag fix just make sure you enable it before restart.
I'm on 2.4 non right now. Steps from here?

Immediately enter red recovery
Enable lag fix
Install voodoo zip from sd card reboot

I always hear... Wipe, wipe, wipe. That's not in any of the method. Is that an issue? Thanks for the correction, too, by the way.
I just flashed sc2.4 with voodoo, but did not enable lag fix before reboot. Can I enable lag fix now without any issues? or should I leave well enough alone?
android virgin! how do you go about downloading the latest version to your phone?? scan barcode and download on phone directly? open link, download on computer and connect phone with usb? all the help would be great!

I have been running EB01 SC 2.4 since Fri and all of a sudden today ever time i try to look at my contacts if FCs on me. Tried rebooting but that did not help. Anything else i can do besides reflash? And if i have to reflash can i do just the 2.4 or do i need to start back over from DI01?
i do. but not every one does. if you dont want to then dont. if you get force closes then wipe then.
its kinda the whole point of voodoo. it wont break anything. you will hear lady android, it will take about 5 minutes.

GUys sorry to be a complete noob but im so close. Ive gotten everythign to work except installing the ROM off the SD card. When i launch the install from SD card from ROM Manager, it goes through the reboot, gets to recovery and then it cant read the sd card. If i try to install the zip file via recovery on the SD card, I cant find it on the SD card when I go to choose zip. The file is in the root. Any ideas?
well your first mistake is using rom manager. you need ot flash the new red cwm and boot to recovery, then install the new rom. rom manager no workie.

When you are in the browser hit the menu button, go more=>setting=>enable plug ins=>and choose on demand.

I installed voodoo on my phone by first installing the non-voodoo 2.4 through odin, then I used CWM to flash JT's EB01 voodoo. I heard the lady android talk, so this means that the lag-fix is enabled right? I don't really know how to check, since this is the first time I have ever rooted/romed my phone. I finally got impatient enough that I am not waiting for verizon and samsung to deliver the OTA update.
Also, I didn't install the voodoo SC 2.4 because I couldn't get CWM red to work on my EA28 stock build, and there was no odin package for a voodoo 2.4.
The main reason that I rooted my phone though was because I thought that voodoo came with some audio fixes that let me use the Wolfson CODEC inside my phone to it's full potential, but I guess I am still screwed by verizon's ineptitude, since there is no EB01 source code yet. :sigh:
Anyways, other then that, I am loving the super clean rom, it is fast! I think I have to fix the battery stats later though, it seems to be draining faster then on the stock build...
