Is it normal for the battery to go from 75% to 60% in a matter of 1-2 hours? I have the superclean 2.6 and super dark theme. Does that make a difference?

I have a question for ya!! well it have 2.6 sfc voodoo and I guess thats the rom...like 146mb? but there was an option for us to install the kernel...and it was only 6mb for the voodoo....so my main question is that whats the difference btw that rom(146mb) and kernel(6mb)???

The rom has everything including the kernel. The kernel download is well...just the kernel which explains why it's so small. lol

I do not have the GPS enabled. But once I do enable it, it doesn't show on the notification bar....the gps icon next to the 3g bar battery icon and time/date.

I'm running Super Clean 2.6, and unless I'm running an application that uses the GPS (when it's enabled), the icon doesn't show. But when I open 4square, maps, My Trakcs, etc., the icon pops up cycling through trying to pinpoint me. When I'm done with the app and back out or exit, the icon goes away. Other versions of SC, up to 2.4 (not sure about 2.5), the icon would stay present all the time; even if the apps were closed.

What kernel is in SC 2.6, EB01 or EB16?

Does it matter what order you flash the 2.6 and the EB16 Kernel. I flashed the EB16 kernel and then flashed SC2.6, I am now wondering if I should have done it the other way around.

The kernel included with the rom is a smidge older. So, you would want to reverse that order.

Is it just me or does the hiss/annoying sound that comes when your own a call and the screen comes on seems to be much less with SC 2.5/2.6 than the stock Froyo builds?

I have also noticed the hiss caused by the proximity sensor & screen on seems to happen less often with sc 2.6.

Been running SuperClean 2.6 since 6:00 a.m. It's awesome. It's nice to have a de-binged phone. Now about the de-bloating, what exactly does that incur? Does it mean the removal of all the Verizon branded pre-installed apps and/or just the ones like NFS Shift, Kindle, etc.?

EDIT : I also noticed some things missing. I don't see an option to set various tones as your alarm tone. You used to be able to select any tone but now I only see Good Morning and Silent. Not a big issue but thought I'd throw it out there. And also there's no widget for the Task Manager like there was on stock 2.1.

All verizon apps, most touchwiz apps, all verizon framework, most third party apps (not all), unused permissions, unused lib files, unused directories, etc. i try to keep the google apps up to date, and I try not to add third party apps except when deemed needed (crutch lite being an exception). verizon aGPS libs and framework have been removed, as they onl;y authorize vz navigator. So checking that option in settings does nada.

Once I've done that, I deodex the rom, and zipalign it. This allows for modding of the rom, as well as themeing. In addition , doedexing saves space. Zipalign can decrease ram usage from an app.

I then mod the dialer for google voice, mod the car dock to use music mod or aosp music app. I take sbrissen's framework and port it into my own, including the "throttle mod" that is thought to allow Verizon to throttle data. from there, accurate battery mod is introduced, as well as reboot options, and five lockscreen mod. Settings.apk is modified further from what sbrissen has done, to include desktop dock settings, (I don't have a dock to test them). this all requires decompiling, modification, and recompiling of framework and apks.

I hand picked eb16 files. All of the bluetooth framework and apps are eb16, as well as the browser, and supporting libraries. The screen capture app is from eb16. All of the hardware framework, and touchwiz framework is from eb16. As mentioned before, the bluetooth framework also, is eb16. The Samsung keyboard and libs are from eb16. Some core libs also made it into this rom from eb16. Opencore audio libs were included from eb16 as well.

Lastly, I make a few modifications to build.prop so that all market apps are seen (that should be), and a framerate tweak, (that Im not convinced works).

Facebook syncing and the app are acting strange. It wants to have 2 accounts in my accounts and sync. I don't want the whole package of touchwiz stuff but it possible to make it so that the phone and app and such play nice together? Or am I missing something completely? Thanks!

hey guys i flashed an eb01 voodoo kernel and my 720p fails everytime.... any suggestions? is there a fix? thanks in advance!
