im trying to download this new rom how do i do it? i lost my internet connection?

Did you drop it in the root of the sd card and not in a folder? What did you rename it to because the file I downloaded did not have to be renamed? And are you booting into hboot by holding down the volume down and then hitting power?

Damn. It sucks that the apps are missing from your backup, I've never seen that happen before. Yeah the link I posted is for root, if you don't have it that won't work.

Are you missing all your paid apps from the market or just some of them?
Either way, I suspect its possible that some of the compatibility hasn't caught up before, but it wouldn't really be something I'd expect.

I am only missing those two paid apps. All my others are there and work fine. I'm thinking it must be compatibility. Oh well. Of all the apps that don't work, why did it have to include my MLB at bat? I love that app.

It doesn't show in the market at all. Nothing, not even that I didn't purchase it. It is as if the app doesn't exist. Same thing with Astro pro.

yes i renamed it PG05IMG.zip. it said at the beginning of this thread to rename it to that.

right click the file, and look at the properties. Make sure you didn't rename it PG05IMG.zip.zip

this is what i did as i understood it. i downloaded the radio fix, renamed it. dropped it in my sd card and its not in a file or anything like this. went to hboot and still getting same message. wrong image

The 25mb file is the extracted radio from the rom, and doesn't need to be renamed. Just download to sd card and install through bootloader.

It sounds to me that you want the rom that goes with the radio, and that file is here: Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

You will need to rename that file to PG05IMG.zip

i just want to do the update ie: fix the video sound quality, gps, etc. do i have to install the rom to get that fix or can i just do the radio file?

You need the new base in order for the updated radio to work.

i'm sorry to sound dumb but you lost me. base? is that the rom? i did the update with the radio but now i'm not getting 4g only 1x

Thats because the new radio you installed doesn't work with the old base.

Go to menu-settings-about phone-software info
In order for the new radio to work properly the Software Number needs be: 1.13.605.7

Now delete the radio zip that you have on your sd card now. Download the unsigned zip that I linked above to your sd card. Rename to PG05IMG.zip and install through bootloader.

nope its not working. i deleted the radio file renamed the new file , dropped it in my sd card and getting wrong image again. do i need to download an app called rom manager to do this?
