Didn't lg have that auto laser focus awhile back?So the rumor on the Note 20 is laser autofocus to fix the autofocus issue on the S20 Ultra... I know this is more of a Note thing but wondering opinions on use of laser autofocus... using laser a good idea and should they have used it on the Ultra?? I wonder if they will use it in the S21 Ultra when they go 150mp sensor.

I think when they had lg making the phones , I think TOF still going be with note 20From what I've been searching they seemed to be the first to introduce it back in 2014/2015. But I really haven't heard if it's used much and how good is it. Seems to be fast and accurate but not as much at long distance. But just doing a little searching, I see that Google used laser autofocus along with Phase detection with their Pixels. Don't know if they still do.

Sammobile article on Note 20 a month ago seem to hint Samsung would remove Time of Flight sensor on Note 20 so this seemed to be in the works for a while.

Yeah its getting closer, we shall see !Note 20 leaks seem to be coming fast as we get closer to August so I guess we'll find out more camera info soon... maybe laser with ToF?
in the 108mp 3:4 or regular 3:4 aspect ratio, get really close to an object until it starts to blur, usually around 2 inches or closer from the object. you'll get a little notification on the bottom left of your screen that says use closeup zoom, tap it and it will zoom in and you back up a bit and it will quickly focus on the object. How do i trigger the new close up zoom notification?

Can't get it to trigger for me and I'm holding the item as close as physically possible.
Do you have the right update? How do i trigger the new close up zoom notification?
I just tested and it is not working for me either. Tried clearing the cache too.
