with all this talk of folks who are ordering today seeing delayed arrival dates of the S20 Ultra 512gb, may i ask if anyone who had pre-ordered 2 nights ago, i.e. shortly after the start of pre-ordering at midnight Eastern time zone, have you noticed that your expected date changing on your Order Status on Samsung.com please?

I think he meant if you preorder now the ship date has pushed back. I don't think any previous orders changed from what they original said...unless I missed something.

Correct, most of us who ordered at 12:01 a.m. on 2-21 have ship date of 3-4
 
My wife has a S9 and was finally thinking about upgrading. I seem to recall from previous phones/comments that you can't have 2 orders with a trade in at same time, anyone know how that works? I don't want to start an order for her and it hang mine up. Otherwise can go to t-mobile for her's.

You can have up to 2 trade ins per address...

No those are intact. It's for people who are ordering now that won't be in the first batch of shipping.
 
My first order, shortly after 12 midnight, was canceled around 12:45am! An incomprehensible email about how some details of my credit card could not be confirmed, even though my card already showed the charge as pending.

As it was canceled, I immediately proceeded to do a second order, a replacement order.

By the time I was done, it was around 1:05am.

This second try order was successful because an hour later, I received an email receipt.

Would that mean I've missed out on the first batch? Or did I still squeak in with the first batch?

I would say you are OK, but just check your order status. I didn't get my order straight in at midnight and I still got delivery by March 6th.
 
A receipt email was received around 1:05am.

An invoice email was received around 1:35am (half an hour later).

They say March 6th.
 
I place mine last night for thr 128gb Grey Ultra and it says it'll ship by March 4th.
 
There are actually 2 different terms being used.

The app says Expected delivery ships by March 4th

Samsung.com says expected delivery March 6th.

My interpretation if the past is any indication is it will ship by the 4th and arrive by the 6th

My advise to everyone is dont be like a kid waiting for Xmas

Oh yeah I had a horrible experience last year with the S10. Coming almost a week late than it said it would when I ordered it and no one had any kind of explanation why. I have the Note 10+ currently so I'm just going to tell myself that when it gets here it gets here. Lol
 
If all this new inventory is just sitting in a US warehouse, why wouldn't they ship them out asap?

It would seem like it's to their advantage to do so at the soonest.

Additionally, they'll get favorable comments from their fanboys... ahem.

They will lift the review embargo by next weekend, phones will start shipping on March 2nd Monday and start arriving between 3rd and 4th depending on shipping speed etc.

If you ordered from T-Mobile they are known to generate shipping label couple days back and people get over excited but eventually that'll also ship on Monday.

Over the past few releases Samsung has been really consistent on their shipping patterns and based on that experience high probability of it shipping on March 2nd for the first batch of shipping.

Also, look for lots of panic on why my card didn't get charged and asking clueless Samsung customer reps about shipping dates who don't have a clue in general but tell something just to get you off their back

Cancelled my Best Buy preorder and ended up preordering the 20 Ultra (Sprint) through Samsung.com today 2/23 at 11 a.m. Picked the buds and a 25w power charger as the gifts.
 
Wonder why someone said yesterday that ultras are all sold out everywhere?

also:

on my samsung.com order, where i was NOT able to get my $35 early sign on pre-preorder bonus, i was able to get my $200 worth of accessories (earbuds plus, and the 45-watt charger). i thought that i should count my blessings that my order seems ok and i was able to pre-order it sufficiently early with the $200 that i should just forget about the $35, as there was no way i could get it since i don't have a coupon code or anything to input.

essentially, i decided to forgo the $35 (don't know why i never received anything besides an email saying that i would have it but there are no coupon codes in that email, no matter how many times other people told me there is a coupon code in that email), in light of the earlier-than-many-others pre-order with the $200.

that said, some others have already posted shipped out noticed they received from samsung.com for their earbuds+ and other accessories. i have not received any shipped out notices of any sort.

wonder why?
