Wonder why someone said yesterday that ultras are all sold out everywhere?

on my samsung.com order, where i was NOT able to get my $35 early sign on pre-preorder bonus, i was able to get my $200 worth of accessories (earbuds plus, and the 45-watt charger). i thought that i should count my blessings that my order seems ok and i was able to pre-order it sufficiently early with the $200 that i should just forget about the $35, as there was no way i could get it since i don't have a coupon code or anything to input.

essentially, i decided to forgo the $35 (don't know why i never received anything besides an email saying that i would have it but there are no coupon codes in that email, no matter how many times other people told me there is a coupon code in that email), in light of the earlier-than-many-others pre-order with the $200.

that said, some others have already posted shipped out noticed they received from samsung.com for their earbuds+ and other accessories. i have not received any shipped out notices of any sort.

wonder why?
If you signed up for the extra 35 contact Samsung through their order chat, I'm sure they will get you a code

i've already placed my order at samsung.com and got my $200, it's just the extra $35 that i didn't get.

my concern is: if they were to ask me to cancel and re-order, that would not be worth risking the entire order AND the $200 accessories freebie bundle all for the $35.

right?

I believe you have until the 5th then could lose those after that date and change the order
 
with south korea raising the coronavirus warning to the highest level today, one hopes that the population there will be safe and healthy.

with regarding to ordering and pre-ordering: it stands to reason that if and when one has made the decision to buy a new phone already, ordering earlier would logically stand a better chance of getting it rather than waiting. the only benefit of waiting might be that the prices will drop slightly.

so very sad about the virus. hope the quarantining and limiting of travel will curtail the spread and the virus will grind to a halt soon. very sad. wishing for the most positive outcome.

Feel same about the virus, hopefully everyone is safe.

With that said, in past ordering early didn't matter. There is no rhyme or reason to shipping.

To some extent yes and there are always special cases but 99% of the time if you ordered early enough you do get in the first batch. Also, a lot depends on what configuration you ordered etc. Some models/combination/carrier vs unlocked which S20 etc lots of parameters.

I doubt they will ask to cancell and they can't force you. They gave everyone that didn't wait for the 235 email a separate coupon code. It's worth a shot...you start the chat, they put you in a cue and you wait.

It was just a suggestion but maybe its not worth your effort. There is not much you can buy without putting up extra money aanyway.maybe a 40 dollar charger.
 
There's no need to change the order. They can just ask for the code especially if they had an email promising it.
The issue is that I got an email talking about the extra bonus, but there is definitely no coupon code on it.

I looked and looked. I'm sure there's no coupon code on that email. Strange.

I believe in the past as long as you didn't use partial it was available later. I'm assuming you didn't uncheck the deal up front.
