Samsung.com Orders

The only accessory that I ordered, a case, shows as being shipped with the s20+5G phone, both say shipped and have the same tracking number. Will get it tomorrow at Walgreens. ;)
 
My buds+ will be delivered tomorrow and S20 on the 12th. I'm getting excited now .. finally some movement :-D
 
Yesterday I received an email stating my order was canceled. After speaking with Samsung and Verizon reps it looks like it was cancelled ssmehow by Verizon. I was told to reorder but the preorder credit was gone. I spoke again with Samsung and they said they would honor the preorder credit at the time the order ships. I have an email from them stating it. I reordered and if not I'll return the buds and the charger.
 
Still nothing, nothing at all shipped from my Feb 21 1:30 am preorder. In fact, this morning I just got an email that my order was cancelled "as per my request". Um... what? I didn't request a cancellation.

I had been emailing back and forth with an executive case manager from the office of the president who just yesterday assured me my case was "very rare" and the order is packed and ready to go and will ship within two days and I may (his quote) "even be able to see it getting shipped by the end of the day.". Then I wake up to the cancellation email. Now they're trolling me.

I don't think Samsung could have borked this purchase any worse than they did.

So now I'm free to buy from anywhere (if it's in stock), but I'm out the $150 Samsung preorder bonus (the buds+) and the larger preorder trade in value of my S9+.

My factual story here in no way represents the absolute rage I'm feeling right now.

I feel really bad for you, but that last sentence had me cracking up!
 
Well, ordered my s20+ Saturday evening and got it and the case this morning at Walgreen's. Four days, not bad. Everything transferred over from my Note 10+ like a breeze. The weight difference is so much nicer than the Note.
 
Am I getting some sort of misinformation here? I want to exchange my S20 because I think something might be wrong with my phone (camera is crappy), Samsung told me I cannot exchange, I have to return for refund complete order, wait 2 weeks to get my money back, and then place another order. Told me to return free accessories too and then place order for same ones again. It makes about zero sense to me

That's just dumb! I would try again. Hopefully you get a different person. Remember, all the customer service reps are not on the same page. Good luck.

I'm pretty sure that's correct....dumb, but correct.

If you got the Samsung care call that number. They will process a warranty replacement, you have to go thru them for warranty. It didn't have sense to me, but that's how it went.

Samsung will only allow you to return the phone, as you were told. I had to go thru this last year with the S10+.
