Anyone hear anything else from Rakuten on getting cash back? Mine still pending after I enquired but wife's did same and said Samsung did not give so submitted ticket fro her as well.

Here is the response I got yesterday after following up on my original inquiry

​​Thank you for writing. We have still not received a resolution for the inquiry we submitted to Samsung. We are keeping a close eye on this inquiry and will be sure to let you know as soon as it is resolved. Again, your continued patience is greatly appreciated.

I contacted them and they even followed it up to let me know they hadn't gotten anything from Samsung yet but that was a week ago

Here's a scary thought. Government orders shut down and the trade in's pause being approved delaying the approval email. Then with this being Samsung and everything is automatic the trade in value charge gets charged to your card or account.

Just thinking about that, I'm glad I got my approval email.
 
Well on Sunday I received an email stating that my device is going to be delayed 30 days. I ordered on 2/21 launch day. I called Samsung and they said that they seen the option to cancel my order even though I didn't ( I ordered a black ultra 512gb TMO ile variant). I told the just to cancel the order and I would just send back all my freebies that they already sent to me and I would just reorder the 128gb variant.
I placed my order on Monday, received my 128gb yesterday and then I got a shipped email and text stating that my 512gb will be here today. WTH??
I financed the device through Samsung's financing and I looked there I only see that they have charged me for the 128 not both. I'm confused. So if course I probably will keep the 512 and send the 128gb back but I bet this isn't going to be without issues so I'm bracing myself.

Get ready for a roller coaster ride. It isn't uncommon for fit Samsung to ship with no charge in your account yet

Oh no I know.. they've charged for the 128 that I ordered this week but not the device I ordered back on 2/21. I'm bracing myself for lots of fun and arguments
