Samsung.com S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

I also received mine in the mail today and am doing the trade in credit. However my package didnt include a shipping label or any information on how Im supposed to send my s9 in. Anyone else in this boat?


Edit: Seems my samsung Order page just updated to show the label I need to print out.

Where did you get the UAG Pathfinder case? I'm digging it, even though I don't want to cover up the ceramic white back...

Directly from the website, this is my eighth phone in a row with their cases, I swear by them, so much that I even stopped putting the ZAGG screen protectors on with them

When did you order yours? I ordered mine also from Samsung canada on march 1st but still says processing.

Was that question for me? I think so because I don't see any other Canadians in here.

I ordered mine as soon as pre-orders went live on Feb. 21st.

Purolator tracking shows it expected delivery tomorrow March 7th.

Fingerprint Reader = So far, NOT IMPRESSED. Very hit & miss.

Also my S8+ Screen White color is about 2 shades whiter than this. Natural Mode, the screen looks yellow compared to the S8+. Vivid makes it better, but not all the way there like my S8+

Package arrived in Hawaii. Love the size of the ear buds. The case is smaller than my Iconx. Guess I know what I'll be doing tonight.

1. Register the same finger twice ( as finger print 1 and 2). The second time I positioned the finger at a different angle and was also careful to get the edges and to of my thumb.

2. Make sure your entire thumbprint is flat on the glass with a slight amount of pressure.

Using this method I'm having around 90% or more successs rate.

I thought it sucked at first but once I started keeping my entire thumbprint flat on the sensor it started working nearly perfectly for me

First impressions:

I ordered the 1TB Black Ceramic. Wow is it a beautiful device. More stunning than any device I've owned and I've owned and still own alot of phones. That said, the ceramic back side is more of a fingerprint magnet than any device I've seen.

Display is as good as any I've seen although as I've been using a XS Max and Note 9 the last several months I can't say that it just blows me away. I much prefer the hole punch to the notch. I really don't notice it when using the device but I've yet to watch movies or play games. Just a couple quick YouTube videos.

Powershare is simple to use. I topped off my Galaxy Buds and it worked as advertised. Speaking of the Buds they were easy to set up and sound great. Fit much better for me than airpods of course that will vary from person to person.

While I don't like the fingerprint sensor as much as the Note 9 or S9+ I don't find it to be an issue either. If you register your main finger as 2 prints at different angles it helps. Also make sure you have your entire fingerprint flat over the sensor and flat against the display. It works almost every time for me after getting used to it

Going to have to agree on the fingerprint sensor. I've been prompted to use my pin far too many times.
