Samsung.com S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Last night ordered S10 prisim white 128 GB unlocked model along with the free ear buds, will be trading in my S9. Didn't see the 50$ credit for accessories. Delivery dates were promised by March 8.

I assume the unlocked version works on all US networks? I'm on Verizon, that's why I am asking.

Pre-ordered the unlocked version of S10e from Bestbuy. I'm with Att, but wanted to try the unlocked version. Decided on the base version in blue. So with my LG V35 trade in of $550, I'll be paying $200 plus tax for the S10e. Was surprised the V35 was on the trade in list at Bestbuy, while it's not listed on the Samsung site. It's probably worth more as a trade in than in eBay or swappa.

Had a chance to play with the phones today and they all feel great, but wanted a smaller phone and a flat screen. The missing features were not a deal breaker for me and because of the size, I think the side mounted scanner will work fine. And the wide angle lens is a big plus. Didn't need the telephoto lens.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+ Pre-order Thread

Yes, you can get the earbuds. They don't come from AT&T. Samsung offers the promo. You have to order the 10 or 10+. Once you get your phone, download the Shop Samsung app, tap "Menu", select "My Inbox" and then "Samsung Galaxy Buds Offer". Follow the instructions.

So we can pre order through ar&t and still get the earbuds? I downloaded the samsung app but it doesnt show me that in my inbox

As I mentioned, you have the download the app to the S10, NOT your current phone.

I thought if you reserved you had 72 hours to pre order and were guaranteed to get it on the 8th I have to order still

Pre-ordered S10+ Prism White with Note8 trade in. Even 64GB on my Note was too much for me and nobody will offer me $550 for my Note 8 anymore.

My ship date changed from March 8 to March 15, I clicked CANCEL and chose "Will take too long to arrive" and I got an offer for an additional $41 refund. Hard to say no to that.

So Best Buy Buy already has them on display? I would love to see all the S10 plus colors in person the flamingo pink looks too coral and doesn't look as sparkly on the back like the white and even the blue I need to hurry and order and decide my husband wants white. I still don't know if Best Buy will take our unlocks give us 550 and let us buy unlocked out right minus the 550. I called them yesterday and today and no answer kept getting hung up on and cut off.

I thought this too. I wanted to see the phones first before ordering the T-mobile regular or plus variant from Samsung but it was already sold out once I returned from BestBuy this afternoon. I hope Samsung has a second wave of pre order devices. Only reason I was going to buy it was due to the $550 Note 8 trade in.

I know were doing it cause of the 550 trade in my husband has a note 8 and me the 9 plus I'm gonna go to Samsung and try to order to see what happens.

My local Bestbuy had the demos. They had the white and the black model. Not sure if I liked the white.

The sales guy told me I would receive the $550 in Bestbuy credit on the trade in and that I can use that to purchase the S10e. If that doesn't happen, I can always cancel the purchase.

Having the same issue, Samsung support was no help at all. Said to keep trying. Now the active watch I wanted to use the discount on is out of stock and still have no order

"Multiple times today I've gotten a message saying the model I'm trying to add is out of stock. Eventually the out-of-stock phone will add to my cart, but it takes multiple attempts. I've had issues not getting the $50 accessory promo to work and my guaranteed delivery by the 8th isn't being honored either. On the checkout page, it says the $50 promo is in effect, but it's still charging me and it says my phone won't ship out until the 15th. What's the point of reserving a phone if it's not reserved? I didn't think it would be this hard to give Samsung my money."

Now it's telling me 3/15 and I am not happy cause it said reserve to get a 3/8 spot. But at least it's before I go out of town and not while I'm gone. I'm calling them tomorrow though to complain. And I see now that the faster wirless chargers says fast charge 2.0 on them but they only have the duo one for phone and watch together. I wanted a charging stand that said 2.0. I just bought a fast charge stand from them a couple weeks ago cause mine were old and weren't usb c I should of waited oh well.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+ Pre-order Thread

I was in the same boat as you coming from the S7. I love the flat screen and was set on getting the S10E but the deal on the regular S10 was tempting so I went to the new Samsung store in Los Angeles last night and wow was I surprised. The edge on the phone is not very noticeable, if anything it just makes the screen look better.

Also the size between the too was almost the same, the only difference is the S10 is a bit taller. For the bigger battery, better screen, more RAM, extra camera, and fingerprint scanner + the free buds I had to pull the trigger. The S10E is still a great phone and feels like it will hold up better to drops.
The deal are great especially if you have old phone. I got $300 off compared to TMobile $250.

I'll hunt on eBay for wireless earbuds ;). They will be flood with it soon lol.

I ordered the prism white version. It hs a ship by date of March 15th. What happened to shipping by March 8th for pre-orders?

Samsung Trade In Problems??

So I am wavering on my decision to just keep my S8+ and not get a new S10+. As I stated on another thread the phones are still quite similar in the features that mean the most to me but I may never get $300 in trade in for the S8+ again. So I was researching the Samsung trade in and it seems that several people have had trouble with this. Are these rare cases or is this the norm for Samsung? Anyone have experience with Samsung trade in that they can share?

Public service announcement... Don't order two or more phones for a single household with the trade in program. This is what will happen:

Your order has been placed on a temporary hold

Hi ,

Your order #DYXXXXXX X has been placed on hold temporarily as we are only able to process one trade-in transaction per household at a time.

Our records indicate that another trade-in order is also associated with your shipping address and is currently being processed. Once that order has been fulfilled, we will release the hold on order #DYXXXXXX and begin processing it. We will update you promptly when the hold has been lifted.

We appreciate your business and kindly thank you for your patience.

If you have any further questions, please contact Samsung Customer Service.

Yeah, my husband and I saw that in the fine print before we ordered. It happened to us last year, too, when we pre-ordered the Note 9. We both ended up cancelling our preorders because the Blue ones we ordered ended up backordered for over a month.

And it's happening again this time and we would not care except he screwed up his pre-order that he placed first and had to cancel and redo it. That put my pink At&T phone up first in the queue and it won't ship until the 15th. His blue is going to be needlessly delayed. That sucks.

I was going to cancel and do mine over to be the second but as of yesterday evening the AT&T flamingo pink does not even show as an option to order.

Anyway, always read the fine print and all of the terms in advance. The trade in offer is actually pretty scary when you do read the fine print. Don't send your old phone in until you're absolutely sure the new one is in good working order and you won't need an exchange.

Re: Samsung Trade In Problems??

I did it for the Note 8 and my wife for the S9+. No issues at all.
