August 26 peeps. Any updates? I can still cancel mine. I am thinking it is not going to happen this week. (Unlocked 512GB Blue)
Still waiting and Samsung chat still says it'll ship this week. Ordered 512gb tmobile version on 8/10
 
Bad part for me is if it's not in Dallas by the 5th I will be headed to my new duty station in San Diego.
 
Ironic that the preorder thread is still going strong with people who preordered but still haven't gotten jack.

Interesting. Mine isn't. Are they getting ready to fulfill your order? When did you place your order?

Ordered on 8/10. Ocean Blue 512GB T-Mobile variant. Order confirmation email states will ship week of 9/2. When I called Monday, they told me it was going to ship this week but order page on the website still shows status as pre-order.

Mine isn't greyed out either. I'd like $100 bucks but I don't really want it to cancel my order lol

I just called Samsung. They said my phone is scheduled to ship the week of 9/6. TMo 512gb blue ordered 8/19. We'll see. I was originally told week of 8/23 when I ordered it on the website, and I've been lied to by customer support on previous orders. Like I said earlier, not worth getting into a pissing match with a cs rep. The nastiness is reserved for the BoD.
 
I ordered on the 15th and I'm being told mine will ship on the week of September 2nd? Whatever the f**k that means lol damn Samsung...

If I recall correctly, I pressed cancel order and that's when I got the $100 off message. At this point i wish i could remember whether or not i pushed that blue button. I'm sorry.

Why not just order the unlocked from Amazon or B&H and get the phone in a couple days? The unlocked one works just the same on the Tmobile network as the tmobile branded one does.

Ok when I tried canceling this morning on my PC, the cancel button was grayed out. I tried canceling via the Samsung Shop app and it worked - sort of. here's what happened in my case:

On the app, it offered me the 10% discount (up to $100) to be applied to my payment method upon shipping if I elected to keep my order and I would receive an email confirming the discount. Below it said I would receive $85 off if I elected to keep my order, otherwise press cancel. When I accepted by pressing keep order, I got a brief pop-up window that read "discount mismatch" that quickly disappeared. I did not receive a confirmation email.

I logged on to the orders page on my PC and selected help via chat. After almost 2 hours of chatting with a rep and then a supervisor (both with Middle-Eastern looking names) they told me I would receive a 10% discount coupon upon shipping that was good for my next order. After going in circles a few times, I demanded next tier customer service to file a complaint and after more waiting, they confirmed the discount would be applied to my order as a refund upon shipping, apologies for the misunderstanding, etc. They also confirmed that shipments are scheduled to be fulfilled the week of 9/2. (I don't know if this is only for T-Mobile variants or across the board).

I don't even know if it was worth all the hassle, but as I'm typing this, I received my confirmation email for 10% discount for not canceling my order.
