Samsung chat said shipping week of the 26th. I asked what day is the end of this week. They said Sunday. The only thing keeping me from going crazy is I'm still using my Note 8

I honestly think that they have no idea about when the phones will ship. They pretty much just repeating what are initial email confirmations say.

It is fair to say, at least for myself, that I don't see this "your device will ship in the week of August 26" happening. Pretty disappointing

Mine too! Fun thing I never chatted with one. Tried 5 times and nobody ever responded then it said my chat session was closed.

Just spoke with an agent (actually same agent I talked to 2 days ago). He said that they received an update via their system that my order will ship tomorrow 09/01. He said he is 95% sure.

It was both. I vented about Samsung not offering an official explanation and timeframe for the backorder status and the cs rep keeping me on chat for almost 2 hours trying to cheat me out of the $100 off my order I was offered, trying to shove a 10% coupon off my next order instead

I couldn't wait anymore. The headphones weren't worth the wait. I cancelled my Samsung order Wednesday after I talked to three people in an hour fourty-five minutes. I called and he said he didn't know. Email and they said September 26th. Then called again and they said this week. I wouldn't have cancelled but everytime I've contacted them they told me something different. Ordered from AT&T the Purple 512GB version Thursday and it shipped today. It should be here Tuesday 9/4. Glad it's going to make it just in time for my birthday!

Just received my unlocked 128 from Amazon today. Mentioned earlier that I gave up on Samsung and ordered from Amazon. Only took one day to get it to me. Had no problem getting everything setup. I have no light bleed, and everything seems perfect. Got the Dex doc and the new dual wireless charger. Just have to sell my s7e on eBay now, which should be something close to what Samsung was going to give me anyway. Hope you all start getting your phones soon...
