Get this shiz... I pre-ordered a blue 512gb for att from BB on 8/11 with now word of when it will be available. Just checked BB online for inventory. One was available 8.5 miles away. I called the store to see if it was true. IT WAS! I asked if they could hold it, they said, no. 30 minutes later it was sold.
So you're telling me, some random dude got to walk into BB and pick up a device that I've been been waiting for over a month? This is as much as BB's fault than it is Samsung's. Why are they sending it to my BB that actually has customers waiting???

How is the wait time for an ATT model? I'd just order it from ATT and be done with it. Does Best Buy allow in store pickup for phones? Can't you just reserve one and pick it up?
Sam's also sells the ATT Note as well.
This is why I like Tmobile. I can get teh unlocked model and it works just like a tmobile branded one. If you had tmobile you could just go thru Amazon and get the 512.
I also hate how carriers lock down like this. The FCC or FTC should do something about it.

I have AT&T and I ordered my blue 512gb on the AT&T website on 9/1 and got it delivered on my birthday 9/11. you may have better luck on AT&T if that's the version you're looking for
I ordered unlocked 512 blue on sept 2 every time i call samsung or contact on chat they keep saying September 20 is the shipping date.

Screw that. Just go on Amazon or B&H and order it. My next phone I'm not rolling the dice again since Amazon sells the unlocked at launch I'll just order there or B&H and pay no taxes. Also better promotion items as well.

I'd be very interested in knowing what the early sales numbers look like. I own a Note 8 and Product Red 8 Plus - did purchase a Note 9 but ultimately returned it. While out shopping in Toronto I made it a point to inquire with the different carriers and retailers and I am not exaggerating when I say all of them (Bell, Rogers, Telus, Best Buy) said they have all colors in stock, have never been close to being out of stock and that the outright sales and plan sign ups have been even lower than the S9/S9+ which they said were quite bad.
I found it interesting, seems like less and less are upgrading as phones become more expensive and the differences between a new device and previously released device become thinner and thinner in margin.

I chatted with Samsung (after waiting over an hour, no less) and was told that my basic 128G ATT that was supposed to be delivered this week (16th) has now been delayed to the 23rd. Exactly what the hell is going on with Samsung? They didn't know about this sooner? Last week they told me that it was still on for the week of the 16th. This is not a 512GB model. They can't even stock the 128GB models? This is my 3rd phone purchase directly with them and the previous two went without a hitch - but this time has been a complete doozy!!
I am starting to think either forgo the $300 GS7e credit and headphones and just buy it somewhere else, or just quit and wait it out another year. People are going to get their new iPhones before I get my Note 9 at this rate....
Oh, the chat agent said that they are out of stock because "most pre-orders are made through the Samsung website". Really? Well, you should have been more prepared, no? The next time DJ Koh gets up on stage to tout a new device, how about making sure you have enough stock so that you'll fill your basic model pre-orders within a month? Is that too hard?
Anyway, venting over. I actually think I just wish they were more forthcoming with me so I wouldn't have expectations and I would also have had a better chance of scoring a deal elsewhere.

I called them today they said my 512 gb that it will ship on sept 23. I asked for supervisor but so far nocall from supervisor. Will call again tomorrow to b**** some more to them.

I jsut replied to your post in that other thread. I would just go to ATT or Best Buy and get yourself an ATT variant and say screw Samsung.com
This happens every pre order with Samsung.com. I think it's both digital river being inept as well as Samsung. How much does ATT offer for s7 edge trade in? I'm sure it's a ton less but at this point I'd just buy from ATT store and say screw it. IMO there is no short supply of your 128gb model from ATT. Samsung didn't allocate enough for samsung.com sales most likely and also just total inept as well.
The chat agent was likely blowing smoke up your arse. I'd like to see if that's true. I think many of the general public still orders via their carriers website or in store.
One more thing guys, I decided to check if I was eligible for the pre-order offer through the shop Samsung app just for shiggles, turns out I was eligible and 15,000 v-bucks were credited to my account. I could've chose the headphones instead, but I'm not a fan of over ear headphones or Bluetooth headphones for that matter. So not only did I get the original pre-order deal, but I also got the $150 best buy gift card and the wireless charger all for free. Samsungs screw up ended up being a gain for me. So unless your waiting because of trade in value, I'd cancel and buy it at the store where you can get a better deal, and still get the pre-order offer through the shop Samsung app.

Amazon has it in stock when I looked last night. Try B&H too and avoid sales tax as well.
I've noticed in putting my order in to try and get the Watch and Charging stand, that 100 bucks worth of Fortnite currency is getting added to my order for free.
