I chatted with Samsung (after waiting over an hour, no less) and was told that my basic 128G ATT that was supposed to be delivered this week (16th) has now been delayed to the 23rd. Exactly what the hell is going on with Samsung? They didn't know about this sooner? Last week they told me that it was still on for the week of the 16th. This is not a 512GB model. They can't even stock the 128GB models? This is my 3rd phone purchase directly with them and the previous two went without a hitch - but this time has been a complete doozy!!
I am starting to think either forgo the $300 GS7e credit and headphones and just buy it somewhere else, or just quit and wait it out another year. People are going to get their new iPhones before I get my Note 9 at this rate....
Oh, the chat agent said that they are out of stock because "most pre-orders are made through the Samsung website". Really? Well, you should have been more prepared, no? The next time DJ Koh gets up on stage to tout a new device, how about making sure you have enough stock so that you'll fill your basic model pre-orders within a month? Is that too hard?
Anyway, venting over. I actually think I just wish they were more forthcoming with me so I wouldn't have expectations and I would also have had a better chance of scoring a deal elsewhere.
