I am so looking forward to this update. I know some Droid users were disappointed in the update they got. But I think thats for two reasons, they didn't update as far, as they already had 2.0, and also they expected way too much from 2.0 to 2.1. But I think us stuck back at 1.5 will greatly appreciate the update a lot more. Here's hoping it comes very very soon.

streaming audio on Pandora doesn't work. Youtube is hit or miss right now as well.

As for streaming applications like Pandora and TuneWiki you'll have to disable Multimedia gateway (new feature in 2.1 rom) .It works fine after that:

phone > Dialer > ##3282# > Multimedia > Enter "MSL" > You will see RTST Proxy, HTTPPD Proxy > modify every list > set Address with "0.0.0.0", port with '0'.

Got the above information from another forum and can't remember who posted it to give credit to. Worked perfectly for me.

If I choose to the flash DD03, will i still be able to get the official 2.1 when and if sprint releases it, or will i have to go back to CL14 first? Also, I dont need to root my moment in order to flash it right?

Depending on who you ask, DD03 is going to be the final release. I'm really hoping not because there are a few tweaks that (READ, GOOGLE GUYS) badly need to be made before releasing 2.1. It would also be nice if (READ, SPRINT PRODUCT MANAGERS) you would let Google go ahead and put multi-touch into the final release. Don't worry about Apple and their lawsuit-happy executives. They're biting off more than they can chew taking on Google.

Whew. I feel better after that. Need caffeine.

Don't know, but if I had to guess, I'm pretty sure you wont. I flashed DD03, then went back to CL14. It takes no time at all to flash back (make sure you keep your CL14 file so you don't have to download again). I flash DD03 again with Joey's recovery. I sense many people are nervous about this, but it is truly easy. Most of the problems that I have seen are from people putting the wrong type of file in the binary folder (must be a .tar) or simply not following the instructions of the SWUpdater. I've been running the leaked 2.1 since last Thursday, and the one with the recovery since yesterday morning, and I have no major issues. I have live wall paper, the new gallery, and did the streaming wallpaper fix. Battery life seems down slightly to the Joey's kernal that I had on 1.5, but only slightly. The improvement in the OS are so worth it.

Question, for those that are running the 2.1 update, has anyone install the wireless tethering and run it? I won't even try the update unless I can do wireless tethering.
Even though I'm having GPS issues and and signal issues, (bouncing back and forth between Ev and 1x.

The update wasnt any improvement so far. If anything it mades things worse on my wifes moment.
