Hey KansasCityJoe your doing great work for us! I had one question however that has been bothering me forever and it is if the moment has multitouch..I know you said it doesnt seem to have it in the gallery or on the browser but is there ANY way possible that you would be able to download "Picsay" or i can PM you the pro version and see if the multitouch capabilities are working with that? Or even dolphin browser? Please let us know I will greatly appreciate it!

KCJoe, is it not a plausable theory to speculate that 2.1 could drop on 4/11, seeing as Sprint.com is getting a rehaul that day, and i have read that 2.1 will not be OTA, atleast for the Moment. So is it possible that new sprint.com site will use a better PC tool to help with the install and distro of the .exe you have? Just thought about it.


EDIT:: and come to think about it, 4/11 would fit with your timeline of within the week

Have you noticed any changes in the radio signal quality? The WiFi frequently fails to connect despite being within 5 feet of the AP. (Other WiFi devices also work fine at that time.) I've also found that the CDMA signal will sometimes drop entirely and not come back until a reboot.

And please PLEASE tell me that they found a fix for the airplane mode issue. That one drives me nuts.

I realize we don't know if the Moment's screen can do multi-touch or not, but we really need some kind of other zoom mechanism then the little on screen buttons... whether that's pinch-to-zoom or tap-to-zoom I don't care, but the current mechanism is awkward.

Frankly, if I were a tester I would have filed a bug on this.

I noticed the post on the data drop and just got out of a four hour lecture in my computer class during the class I observed my connections my 3g was so on and off I lost count I lost wifi 6 times. And my signal went dead 3 times . Now that gets me fed up for one I have a pregnant g.f in the hospital that I need to be in contact with and two should I put these phones on ebay going to show as bboth me and her have one and live in poverty after buying two evos at full retail because I've only had sprint for 2 months now ???? Or is this going to be addresed .oh and I've checked and I'm in 3g hotspots not only at home but in skool going to show as I'm currently laid off those are the only two places I am 90% of the time

There is tap-to-zoom. No pinch-to-zoom (at least in this build).

I'd love a little bit of clarification. Others have asked about the lock screen, and you say it's about the same. Do you mean it's about the same as the awful 1.5 lock screen that seems easily defeated by one's pocket (hit menu to unlock), or do you mean about the same as it is on other 2.1 phones (with the sliding side items)?

And then the other question that's been asked that's definitely of importance to me is if they've adjusted the in-call screen buttons so I can stop suddenly blaring my private conversations across the room while I scramble to let the phone unblank the screen and then re-hit the Speaker button which is strangely much harder to press with my finger than it is with my cheek? For some it's accidentally muting the call, but that's rarely the case for me. Either way, I'm hoping this has been fixed.

Also, since 2.1 has built-in Exchange support, has Moxier been removed, and/or updated since CL14? Our version of Moxier's lacking certain functionality that's bugging me.

What about copy-and-paste support? I've found it's non-existent in e-mail currently for some reason, which makes the links that it doesn't recognize as links a real pain to work with. Any improvement to that?

There are sliding side items in the "basic" lock screen. However, there is a pattern unlock the same as in 1.5. Moxier is in 2.1. Version is 2.1.67.2.
