Samsung Trade in Program, how quickly does the process work thread.

I finally did. Email came in about 4:45PM MST. That was followed by a couple of other emails about why Samsung is the #1 refrigerator and another about deals on televisions. I guess they just email bomb you at once :)

Glad to see that your acceptance email arrived! Guess I can expect that sales promo email at any time. :)

Definitely! The only small worry I had really was that I forgot to take the old SIM out after doing a SIM transfer to the new one that came with the N20U. I kept thinking "surely they wouldn't reject it because I forgot to remove the old SIM right?"

I don't think the old SIM would have been an issue.
 
Apparently not. But being new to the trade-in game, it was renting space in my head :)

Yeah it was my first time trading in as well and I read a comment about people getting their phones rejected for burn in and I got worried about my wife's trade in but I'm glad it's over with,and I can enjoy my note 20 ultra.

My phone was in mint shape and I had photos of all 6 sides and a video of it booting.

But that SIM card was nagging at me hahaha.

I am glad it is over as well :)

Yeah I recorded a video of the both devices before sending them just in case,my wife's phone was in really good condition, but when I reseted it I noticed some burn in, I might be going through this same stress next time I trade in a phone lol
 
Been waiting since Sept 4th to complete trade in process. 11 days later I'm still waiting.

I was waiting since the 4th as well (phone actually received on the 1st). Finally received the confirmation today.

I know it has been 11 days, but with the Labor Day weekend, it has only been 6 business days since the 4th.
Was the phone evaluated at a US location? If it wasn't, Labor Day wouldn't apply. (It's a US holiday, not a world-wide one.)
 
Mine was, but even without. It would be 7 business days unless there are parts that consider the weekends to be business days. Not far outside of Samsungs 3-7 business days window yet. The main point I was trying to make is that while it has been 11 days, it hasn't been 11 business days :)
 
It took 12 days for me. I thought something was wrong but I just think that covid-19 has affected the Samsung work force and things are rolling out a little slower this year. Hang in there. : )
 
I am I same position. I brought my note 10+ packed correctly with all the correct paperwork to my local FedEx. After 1week of no movement. I called FedEx they misplaced it and would look into it. As of today package is lost. I filed a claim. And reported loss to Samsung. Now it's a waiting game
Don't feel bad guys/gals..Freakin Federal Express lost my pkg with my Note8 trade-in. Took it to local Walgreens to ship back, it was picked up the following morning by Fed. X & made it to Arlington Tx, said on truck for delivery. Then, delivery got pushed to next day and nothing since, been a week over due .. & never made it back to Samsung! Uggh, I feel a huge nightmare coming on!

Thankfully I have my receipt for FedEx receiving it
Hopefully it gets resolved quickly:(
 
Wow - Sammy received my trade September 4th and I just got the approval for my trade today. I was beginning to wonder what the.....lol.
