So I just rooted after getting the VZW OTA...

...and it was easy. I had a few drawbacks with having to reflash fastboot, but once you get the commands down in the terminal (mac os) it was super easy to unlock and root. Big ups to Max at galaxynexusroot.com for making it super easy.

So, what should I do next?

I've been using Apex and have already enabled root access for adding widgets from the drawer, but obviously I need to get a new ROM. I'm thinking AOKP...hm...

I just installed CM9 Nightly earlier today, for the first time. Seems to run very well, nice feature set. Solid so far, used TB to restore my apps, all well!

Its solid but lacking at the moment. I run the rom thread and even that can't compel me to stay on it for the long run. That being said, it is well on its way.
