The HTC ONE on ALL CARRIERS has been put on hold and DELAYED!!! However, This UPDATE Was already being PUSHED OUT to SPRINT CUSTOMERS..... IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY ISSUES, You will not be able to REVERSE Back to 4.2.2 or 4.3!!!

Please visit the UPDATE's PAGE And read the LETTER To HTC ONE customers!!! The Decision to put the update a few weeks back was decided AFTER the Completion and PUSH to Sprint Customers... This is not to say that the UPDATE is Faulty... And Sprint Customers may be just fine... but I would personally WAIT

Checked for the update earlier. It popped up. I downloaded and installed. Everything is running really smoothly now.

Can't figure out how to make a pic as your lock screen either .

It appears there's no way to set your lock screen to anything other than what your home screen is. I think This must be a Sense update. Not a big fan of this change, but otherwise, I'm very satisfied with this update.

I don't have 4.4 yet but you can go to personalize then lockscreen change to wallpaper then settings custom wallpaper

AT&T should be receiving it starting on Feb 11th, but it could possibly be later since the update is released in waves.

4.4.2 HTC one sprint update:

Likes: camera allows me to write over a pic, had to get used to pinching screen to zoom, better battery, option to turnoff blink feed however I like blink feed better now with new options to remove article or read later plus more feed choices. Like google now feature of not touching phone and just saying ok google and asking question.

Dislikes : rather not have to use lock screen,

Still discovering stuff but so far pretty pleased. Interested if someone has seen other cool stuff.

Right... I am not denying that the update is real... I am just saying, After the ROLLOUT started, they CANCELLED THE RELEASE.... The Update is going back to Certification Stage FOR ALL CARRIERS INCLUDING SPRINT with a release date around the 11th or later... If you chose to accept this update Before then... There could be bugs or it could BRICK Your phone and you can't reverse to an earlier version! I am just asking people to Be Careful... If you Chose the UPGRADE NOW, Expect it to AGAIN prompt you for an update in a few weeks, as i am sure the update version code will have changed

There's nothing wrong with the Sprint update to KitKat. The update is scheduled for February 11th and is to be pushed in waves so it does not slow down the HTC system. With that said users are still able to push the update via phone settings. The Kit Kat version will not change from now to February 11th

Ever since the Kitkat 4.4.2 update my phone lags more then ever and I'm now experiencing internet freezing problems. Ugh!

Do you have a source showing the Sprint update was cancelled?

Its already been Discussed and linked in this forum. the UPDATE was removed from OTA Push to customers, you can UPGRADE at your own will Manually... But it has been noted that they will NOT push it to customers automatically for another 2 weeks

Hey Jimmy, often times after an update of this magnitude (almost 600meg) you may experience some technical difficulties. I'd clear the system cache but a reset may be needed
