Sprint ONE April 19th

Started a chat session because the pending charge on my credit card disappeared. After being told that meant my order should be getting ready to ship he reaffirmed the information that everyone else has been getting. As long as your order before yesterday before 5 Eastern you should have the phone Friday.

I pre-ordered on 4/11, and my order status remains "Order in Progress," nothing else. Sprint is still showing a $215 credit toward my account, so I'm wondering if that means the order hasn't actually been technically placed yet. Is anyone else who pre-ordered still seeing a credit for the phone's price (and upgrade fee) still credited toward your account? Don't know whether I should go ahead and hit up customer service. Thanks.

Status: Thanks for ordering the HTC One Silver with White accent. Pre-orders placed through 4/16 are expected to deliver on or around Friday, 4/19. Any orders placed on 4/17 or later will deliver in 2 to 5 business days from order date. You may continue to track status of your order on Sprint | Check Your Order Status. Since we are processing so many pre-orders so quickly, your tracking number takes a little longer to get to you than normal. Do not worry. If you ordered before 4/16, your tracking email may come as late as Friday, 4/19 when your phone is already on its way to your door. Thanks for your patience.

Cool, thanks for the post. That eases my mind a little, at least, though I've never been in a situation where something I ordered arrived the same day as I receive a tracking email. If you're going to announce a release date and start accepting pre-orders, you should have a system in place to process them in a professional manner. (Oh, Sprint.) And with the new S4 announcement, I hope Sprint isn't pulling away resources to deal with that while we're still waiting on our phones.

This is actually common. I handle phone procurement for my company and tracking numbers are rarely available before it's received.

Okay, cool. That hasn't been my experience with other things, but I haven't done a phone pre-order previously. I appreciate the info.

The problem with that is many of us work during delivery hours and if this requires a signature we need notice to plan accordingly.

Yeah I just placed a order a day or so ago so I might not get mine by the 19th maybe the 20th but either way looking forward to getting on a new device. :)
 
Just got my shipping confirmation, they shipped it overnight/next day... hell yeah!!!!
