Sprint ONE April 19th

Can any one (Phil....) tell me whether or not this is a global phone?, if it is indeed a global phone, does it have it's gsm part embedded or will have a sim slot?

Still looking for reliably confirmed answer.....

I bet you won't know a definite answer until someone has a Sprint specific device in their hands to show off.
exactly, there must be some one might already have their hands laid on this one and usually in the present days you get all information(including rooting & ROMs) well before it is released(am I talking about S4?!).

If Sprint flipped the switch for LTE in the Philadelphia area, I'd be more prone to preorder this bad boy on Friday. So, I guess I'll just have to wait patiently with my GS2E4GT

I live in Philadelphia I've had lte for a month now...

So from your past experiences does sprint offer only and online pre order (meaning it'd need to be shipped.) or do they do in store pre orders too? (meaning I could pick it up at the store? Central Forums

You can buy a $50 Sprint gift card and reserve one in a corporate store. That isn't always guaranteed inventory, though. Online usually gets preference in preorders. You can order earlier and get inventory priority. It also usually ships a couple days early.

It's global, and the SIM card is external, like all the other HTC Ones. :)

They have a reserve in store option, but it's only available for inventory currently available. You have to either go into a store to pre order for in store pick up or order launch day unless you want it shipped to you.

Is there a reason you want to go into a store? Sprint usually ships preorders a couple days early.

Just because from video game pre order experiences you had to pay for shipping and you wouldn't get it same day as release. But I already pre ordered mine at best buy!

Sprint preorders almost always arrive a day or two before launch.

Well that's exciting! I'm thinking about preordering mine from them, as it would be much cheaper to cancel my contract with AT&T and buy it with Sprint, and I would save some money every month too.

Well i already pre ordered with Best Buy so i might as well stick with that! Plus i dont like paying for shipping fees

If Sprint doesn't offer a freebie, get it from Radio Shack for $10 off plus a $50 Google Play card.

That's what I'm saying.....Sprint isn't handing anything out with it (don't think BB is either) so I'm not sure why anyone with a RadioShack near wouldn't just pre order there.

To make things clear, the Verizon and Sprint (CDMA Version) of this phone will have the SIM tray in it? I didnt see anywhere on the sprint site stating that this will be a global phone, hence why I am just wondering. It may just have to wait until the phone makes it debut in the states and we see for ourselves, or does anyone have solid info?

Their press release calls it an "international phone"
