Got mine yesterday afternoon. Worked like a charm in good connection. Consistancy throughout the city is spotty though.

Anyone in southern California, Los Angeles area received the update yet?

I got my update yesterday my battery life seems to be stable I actually have better battery life and connections across East Orlando. I will be trying it out tomorrow at the Walt Disney World complex I will let you know how it holds up

Honestly cannot believe there is not an option to get rid of that thing.

The reason that I am waiting for the update is because Google Hangouts MMS is broken...according to Sprint's webpage describing the update, there is a fix for it.

Find and update the software version on your LG G2

No, it is not. It only spins while connected to LTE and either uploading or downloading data. I actually like it.
Also, if it's connected to 3G, it changes to a spinning ring with the text "3G" on the inside.
I like both icons and hope Sprint doesn't change it because of all of these knee-jerk reactions.

My launcher hides the notification bar so the Spinning Spark Snowflake won't be as bothersome to me.
