Support for downloading additional themes ?

Update: I fixed it. Turns out that the AT&T version dose not have LG Smartworld pre loaded which you need to download additional themes. Thankfully you can simply download the smartworld APK, sideload it and then the download icon will show up in the themes menu!

Hey guys. I just got my LG V20 today (really loving it so far) and I was wondering about something I noticed. When I go to settings > Themes I have the default theme and the two dark themes, but there is no button or menu to browse for and download additional themes. What I find interesting is I have seen pictures and videos of the LG V20 where the theme menu has a download button and a trash can icon (I'm guessing for deleting downloaded themes). Here is a screenshot of what I'm talking about from a Android Authority video.



Also LG's official promo video for the V20's LG UX 5.0+ shows this download button


However my LG V20 from AT&T dose not have that. Do you guys have it on your V20's?

ATT probably removed LG Smartworld which is where you would download from.

Update: AT&T version dose not come with LG Smartworld pre loaded. All you have to do is download the SmartWorld APK, install it, and thats it. The download icon and additional available themes will show up when you go to the themes menu.

I'm curious to see if any of the other US V20's have it. Or if any V20 that has that download button actually gets the themes from "Smartworld" or they came up with something better (I hope)

Also I had Smartworld on my AT&T G4.

I have it on T-Mobile variant and it opens LG Smartworld.

Edit: I fixed it! I simply side loaded the Smartworld APK and the download Icon showed up in the theme menu!

Yeah extremely! Hopefully it improves at a decent pace.

Yes no themes I like but when I did try to download to test i got an error message and it kicked me off LG smart sight and made re resign in and repeated to kick me off every time I tried to download.

After you install it, go to your app drawer/launcher and run the Smartworld app and then try rebooting your phone. Then go back to settings>themes and try downloading a theme again.

I got an update too. Now I get an error pop up message. I just don't work.

The pop up brings up a question, does the v20 have a button combo for screen capture? I know in quick tools I can screen grab but there are times an error message pops up for example, everything on screen is frozen, so secondary screen don't work until you hit ok on the error message making the message vanishes, only then can you grab a shot from quick tools but it's too late, the error window gone.

Not sure why its not working for you guys. I got a update for SmartWorld as well and it installed fine. Don't know if this makes a difference but I signed into my LG account on the phone by going to Settings>Accounts & sync>Add account>LG Account. It will let you just sign in using your google account if want which is what I did. After that open SmartWorld and make sure it has you LG account signed in by hitting the ... next to the search button.

I've managed to get a few more themes installed by going to Settings>Themes and taping on the download icon. The download speeds from "SmartWorld" are pathetic, and the entire app/store in general is so **** poor and slow :/
Also there is only about 5 or 6 themes and IMO all of them are quite ugly.
