T-mobile LTE-U disappointment. What's your speed?

Re: LTE-U disappointment. What's your speed?

Does your area have the 5 ghz spectrum being utilized and/or multiple aggregation?

I thought when I got my T-Mobile S8 I would have ultra fast gigabit internet. Not.

My speed is fine but I don't get the new internet speeds. Pretty deceptive advertising if you ask me. I'm in North Jersey.
Post your T-Mobile 4G LTE speeds and location.

I don't see it as deceptive. Anything a carrier claims is very area dependent. Just because they say their network can do something doesn't guarantee you're going to see it where you are.

They give you the perception that you will have LTE-U when you get the S8. Fact is there is no LTE-U.

I don't see that. From reading the article it talks about LTE-U with a direct link to the article that talks about it coming in Spring 2017. The article simply mentions it has the capabilities.

So .. I see it all laid out.

This is what I get in my area with my T-Mobile S8

I don't know if it's LTE-U and this is the first time I am checking the speed after seeing your post. Here is the uncropped version as well.

And here is my speed test in my iPhone 7 Plus. Seem like they are same as my S8:

This is in a low signal area as can be seen with this image but TMobile speeds look good.

They've also mentioned that gigabit LTE speed is basically theoretical. You will not see 1Gbps speeds outside of a lab. Period.

This is farther away but in a much open area. Getting awesome LTE T-Mobile speed here than my home:
