T-Mobile Pre-Order Thread!

Well I broke down and ordered one. Wasn't going to but the smaller phone that still had an S pen sold me. I am surpised the + was so cheap. Even at no down payment the taxes were $77 on the regular note.

Was $89 for me on day 1. Ordered through twitter. 256gb Note 10+

May i know how many years you have been JOD customer & also how many years you have been with T Mobile? Looks like these also being factored in order to evaluate the down payment.

I send a message to tmobile through tweeter and I was told that the $89 was a mistake on their system for people that ordered the first day and that they couldn't give me that pricing. Then I called their customer support and i was told that every account was different and I just qualified for the $199. I've been with tmobile for 5 years and I had jump and then switch to JOD when it first started. I asked for more information about why I was denied their prefer pricing for down payment and I was told that they were going to send an email to someone else and they will get back to me.

I've been with them for 10 and just paid $199.99! Excellent credit.... I had no idea anyone paid anything different.. wow...

How did you order the phone? Did you call? Tweeter? I called Tmobile and I was told it was $199 down, when I mentioned that I had a "friend" that paid $89 i was told that if i can give them more information on that account they will look into it if they can do the same for me they will do it. Do you have the name of the rep who helped you? I appreciate any info that you can give me because I don't think it is a good deal to pay $199 for JOD

I contacted them through Facebook messenger. Sorry I don't remember the name of the rep. I would not want to pay $199 down either since I jump to a new phone every 6 months.

As per usual customer service reps have no clue and somehow are all trained diffently. I get it it's a big company, but how hard can it be to send out an email with specific pricing for each tier.

I've been with them 7 years, good credit also, got the Note 10+ Aura glow, and had to pay $149.99 up front so who knows ? 🤷🏽*♂️

I'm not sure if everyone quoting down payment prices is talking about the same thing... i.e. JOD. Between EIP, JOD, and regular Jump, plus the various credit tiers, there could be all kinds of different down payments.

I will say that it was strange to me that both the regular Note and the Plus had the same down payment price with JOD. Could be that the Plus was the one with the price error.

I could see the regular note being $89.99 and a pricing error for the plus makes some sense for all the different down payments people have had. Only thing is every year there's multiple different prices people pay for the same phone on JOD.

Yeah. If nothing else T-Mobile should be doing a better job of communicating to consumers exactly why the prices are what they are, why they're different, etc. Let alone better educating their own associates on these things.

I preferred the smaller Note 10, it's a dream to have a display that huge in a form factor that small. $89.99 made sense, especially with EIP being $0 down for the regular Note 10. Their payment sysem was down on pre-order night which delayed processing for everyone, but it eventually got sorted at $89.99 a few hours later.

Looking forward to enjoying the fall and winter with my new Note!

Likewise! Although in my case I'm looking forward to spending that time with my gargantuan Note 10+. It's always been my dream to have a tablet-sized phone. With any luck they'll release a Note 11++ which requires its own backpack. :D

Lol wouldn't be surprised if some people buy that. Hell, they could even name it the Note11 Galaxy, in reference to the vast distances the device reaches.

I pre-ordered a JoD 10+ aura glow 256GB for $90 down, and express shipping was waived. I've been w/ TM since 2013 and have 4+ lines. I also regularly jump every year.

With tmobile the same amount of time, I wasn't charged a penny for my note 10+ glow 256 pre order JOD

I'd double check that just in case, especially if you did it by phone. I got my Note8 JOD with $0 down and the phone associate (call center in the Philippines, I believe) ended up doing an EIP instead. It led to the biggest (and only, really) argument I've had with T-Mobile in my 6 years with them. They treated it as an EIP and refused to honor the JOD. I almost left T-Mobile. Had to go on a Twitter rant and tag Legere before it got sorted.

You're probably fine, but if you ordered by phone... I'd suggest you double check now to make damn sure it's a JOD before you end up going through what I did.
