I have bought an android compatible wireless keyboard but when plugging the connector into the tablet it isn't recognising it. Yet my two Samsung phones with the same software version do recognise it. I've downloaded a usb diagnostic app and it threw out an error code which i forgot to make note of. But any ideas how i can get it to work on my tablet? Thanks

1) USB isn't wireless, it's wired. Which are we talking about?

2) If it's USB, are you using an OTG cable between the keyboard and the tablet?

3) If you are, does the tablet support OTG?

A wireless keyboard may have a USB connector to charge the battery in the keyboard, but need Bluetooth turned on in the phone or tablet (and be paired) to work.

Its a wireless keyboard but it has a usb connector so it can talk to the pc/tablet. The keyboard isn't picked up by just bluetooth.

I don't know about the OTC how do i check that? I didn't think it would be different to my phones...

I've had success with a few Bluetooth keyboards but a usb dongle I haven't used
