What wet installs are you guys using, I need one that feels like glass!!! LOL Probably not going to happen however.
Not sure what there is to debate. It is still scratch resistant not scratch proof. Find dirt or sand with a single hard enough crystal and it will scratch when you brush it away. Wear good jewelry? Same boat! And it cannot be repaired. It all depends on how badly you want that $750 device to remain perfect.
I have yet to see a tempered glass work on the curved galaxy screens that didn't end up trapping air bubbles under the center or immediately popped off when a case applied pressure to the side lip. Also for some reason a lot of protectors put that bottom and top masking, wtf is up with that? spent less time on useless paint and more on making better glass.
I will most likely be cutting a custom polyurethane skin from my sheet for the first day while waiting for a good maker like xtremeguard to finally release theirs. I cut mine with an exacto knife and the edges leave lots to be desired. Poly skins look great but alas not much can be done with that rubber feeling.

Got my Whitestone today. That was a complicated install,. But after the S7 edge and this s8+, this is the first full adhesion wet application tempered glass protector that actually works. If you can find one buy it.
Take back my recommendation... I have bubbles galore today.

No but that Zagg is to expensive to look likeI have the Zagg protector installed at VZW and my biggest gripe is that it actually let MORE dust get under the screen after a week. It responds fine to my touch but looks terrible! I feel like it got progressively worse as tiny dust particles snuck past the border to the space between the protector and the screen. Has anyone else had this problem?
It's extremely irritating. I really feel like it detracts from the quality of the phone. One of the best things about a Samsung is the display. This screen protector takes away from that.No but that Zagg is to expensive to look like![]()

The Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector is available for pre-order on Amazon for both the GS8 and the GS8 +.
There is a Reddit user who commented on the RhynoShield tempered glass from firsthand experience.
Seems to be on par with most of the other ones on the market-- Adhesive around edges only, dot-matrix, some rainbow effect and not compatible with all cases.

After looking into every option I could find I eventually went with SecondSkin's One. I've had Zagg's before but just fancied a change more than anything. It also doesn't just have the thin strip of glue my S7 Edge one had (can't remember which brand?), so so far so good.
