patience... Best bet is to take all rumors with a grain of salt. Definitely don't make plans based on them.
patience is for those who deal with little kids and long waits... we live and love an industry that changes every day with new offerings or shinys... paitence is something i lost a long time ago....It is funny though how many of us are turning into kids again with the I want it now approach... i myself am guilty of it as well as was guilty of it when i was bamboozled over the Facinate.

Yeah, i have been guilty of being a big baby at times over this phone. LOL. Just have to wait ... a littlle..... longer..
So myself like many of you were hoping for December 9th release (this friday). However my roommate informed me today of some terrible news. He is an armored truck courier and one of his many stops is a Verizon store, and when I talked to him just now, he told me that he talked to the manager and the manager said that it was supposed be released this Friday, but it looks more like next Friday, December 16, 2011. He said it could be next friday or a little sooner, but most likely the 16th. Take this with a grain of salt, I have no hard evidence but thats what the manager told my roommate. When I talked to my local verizon store today about it, the manager said that he hasn't even received a shipment in. This ruins my whole week

. Sorry for the bad news guys.I agree with debrent here. Just asked my long time friend that manages some stores down in Texas and she said the same thing. They have all of the accessories, banners/signs, etc for the Gnex, but that Samsung has put the hold on the phone both times. She also said that no stores in her market have gotten shipments of the phone yet. Seriously tired of this crap, but its the only phone that I want to get so I'll just have to wait for a bit longer.
Also...just sign up to be notified on the verizonwireless webstie, samsung website, google nexus site (im sure most of us already are ;-) I guarantee you'll get an email before you can go to the store to buy one. Dont even waste your time with it.

LOL I got another rumor that Verizon isn't the blame for this. Best buy is! People in the XDA forums were bringing up about how BB is not getting the phone tomorrow and they don't want to be left out.

My aforementioned f-buddy told me that her "source" told her last night that Verizon wasn't to blame, but that she heard Samsung and Google were having problems. (Coincidentally, her "source" works for Verizon.)

Agreed - it is now released in the UK and in Canada.....WHATS the DEALIO??!?!? Jeepers - just release the dang thing already!!
At this point with the phone released in Europe and in Canada you have to be a true Verizon fan boy to think anyone but Verizon is holding this phone back.
Not totally. All of the other releases so far are GSM versions. So, while it's still Verizon's network, it could still be a software/hardware issue rather than Verizon just holding it back for other reasons.
Seems to work fine on Verizons network. Not sure what the hold up is. *couch*razr, rezound, FCC violations *cough*
