Things You Don't Like About The 6P?

The phone isn't designed to be serviced by the user, hence the sealed back plate. Certain circumstances may call for someone to open the back, however that will probably void any warranty that was on the phone. That's why Google is very lenient with the RMA's and has a decent basic warranty.

Yes. But whoever services the phone, thank the plastic insert.

Honestly, lack of proper quick settings. I would love to have a button for quikcly toggling data, be able to change audio levels quickly instead of going into the audio settings every time, and more. Why is the selection of quick settings so small on the 6p? It's the one thing that bugs me about stock android the most.

Also, my camera lags every now and then which requires me to either go home or press the power button.

Other than that, I'm very happy with my phone.

I haven't found anything i don't like yet that's a big deal .To me the button placement isn't an issue ,they are in almost the same exact location as they are on my N6.
I thought double tap to wake would be nice but can place my finger on finger print scanner and wake it that way. Hmm wireless charging is the only thing but not a big deal. Its the only thing that I can think of though ha. :)

Size. It's too damn big. Oh how many times i've been torn deciding if i should press "buy" after the phone's in my cart on Google Store. But, the size is what's keeping me from getting my hands on it. I wish they had this in 5X size.
For now, i'll keep using my beloved G2 - ideal size phone, love the screen-to-body ratio!

Well I haven't been fond of the fact that I haven't been getting timely GMail syncs or notifications for about 3 weeks with any consistency and Google has yet to fix whatever is wrong. Other than that, I've been pretty happy with the phone itself. I also just concluded my first month on Fi and been pretty happy being able to use that, particularly given that my first month's bill is less than half what I was paying Verizon for the same level of service.

Just hit the volume button on the side, that drops the level down, and you can adjust from there. If you hit the arrow to the right you can then adjust media, and alarm volume from there...

6P -- As others have said, button placement is really bad. I am constantly hitting the buttons by accident. 6P is also slightly heavy and slippery. it is too big to use a case, but I otherwise like the size.

Google -- Horrible excuses for email (Gmail), calendar and contacts apps. There are apps to replace them, but they shouldn't be necessary. The poor Google apps are not the fault of the 6P, but one of the down sides to having stock Marshmallow. Otherwise Marshmallow and the 6P are great, in my opinion.

I have used phones from all manufacturers. I have had more Android phones than I care to admit -- my first was the HTC Droid Eris. All of the other manufacturers have native apps that are better than Google's, particularly for business.

I don't disagree...but I've found that I hate HTC (especially old school) and Samsung's take on android and their bloat. They are echospheres...and in Samsung's case, it's very Appleish behavior IMHO. What Google lacks in native apps, they make up for in openness and apps / ROMS abound for their perceived shortcomings. Although...Exchange integration still sucks everywhere, thank goodness there is an Outlook app now, but it's not all the way there yet.

I agree. Really, the three apps I mentioned are the only ones that drive me nuts. Unfortunately, I rely heavily on all three of them. Outlook does have a long way to go.

Thanks, but no thanks. Not worth the trouble for slight issues.

Google Nexus 6P

Problems are generally small and I don't think you should worry about it. Many ROMs are already nearly stable with 1 or 2 problems here and there. For example, I'm running CM13 on my nexus 6. The only problem I've encountered is that, when switching APN's, it will only put some kind of ID number - I know because each APN is a different number. And that's not a major bug, so I don't care.
Just make sure you get a well-developed ROM (one that has a large community and is updated often)
CyanogenMod is one of the most well-known, best-developed custom ROM out there.
Remember, you have a Nexus. Google practically intends for you to put a custom ROM on there.
I personally don't have a 6p (as mentioned, just a 6) so I can't give you recommendations. However, Cataclysm is pretty good, and I really like CM. I've also heard good stuff from Pure and Vanilla, but CM is my top choice

GMail doesn't suck for business if you use Gmail for business. If you're trying to push exchange or lotus notes or something, then sure I'm betting it's not as smooth.

The thing I hate about this phone is the Bluetooth. With my phone it's spotty at best and completely unusable with headphones.

Hate:
1. Gigantic bezels on the top and bottom add more than 1.25" to the height of the phone.
2. No OIS (optical image stabilization)
3. Volume and power buttons too close - maybe put volume buttons on the left side of the phone?

Would have been nice:
1. a larger battery or better yet a removeable battery or even better a hot-swappable battery.
4. IR Blaster - there are dongles that provide this, but it would have been better if it were built-in.
5. MST - Being able to use your phone to pay anywhere you can use a magnetic stripe credit card would have been awesome.
6. USB 3.0
7. 6-inch screen

Your list is close, but I'll add a couple tweaks to my answer. I agree most definitely about the extra height, although I would disagree about the 6 inch screen. Coming from a 5.2" screen, I was ready to go bigger but I was thinking 5.3 to 5.5" max. I have adjusted but a phone that's easier to hold would have been nice. IR blaster would be nice. I haven't taken a ton of pictures yet, but I agree that ALL premium phones, should have OIS. Two other LG features I miss that are related to your list are knock on/off and I really got used to the volume buttons in the back. Once you get used to those that placement, you realize how ergonomical it is and that all phones should put their buttons back there so as to please leftys and rightys and avoiding the whole "I wish it were higher/lower/left side/right side" debate. Plus the Knock On feature does also spoil you. I guess my list are things I miss but I can't say I find anything I hate about the phone; merely suggestions to make it better.

I feel I should add that some problems I see people having such as Bluetooth issues, email issues, and even battery life, I have had NO issues in that regard and mine runs very smoothly in all areas.

I am having some Bluetooth issues, some devices won't connect or drop the connection or, most annoying of all, some headsets will pair but not for media files. Mind you, I had the same trouble with my Nexus 5!

Samsung user normally?

This x 100. People get used to one thing and then think it's a flaw when using a design preferred by others. The buttons have been like this for a while for Nexus users, and I'd be pissed if they adopted the (to me) infinitely stupid Samsung button arrangement. The way I gripped the N6 and now the 6P the buttons are perfectly placed, and they would be a huge PITA to get to one on the left side.

I'm not saying everyone should feel this way of course, I realize it's what you are used to. But that should really cut both ways.

Exactly! The placement makes sense since the phone is large. Good thing they didn't place then like HTC and put a button on the top, that would be dreadful.

No. I don't want a tablet. I want a larger phone. 5.7" is too small, 6 or 6.1" would be fine. Believe it or not, not everyone wants a 5" phone.

This. I wanted the 6P to be 6.2" or so, but I settled for the 5.7" screen since everything else was so great. I don't regret it, because I bought it knowing what I was getting, but I do wish the next nexus phone is between 6 to 6.4".
