The speaker sounds amazing, but some may not like it. I'll try my best to explain.
It seems like everything is much more clearer...meaning, if you were watching a video or something, and there were noises that kinda "blended in" to the other noise when using the dinc 1, on the dinc 2 you can actually hear that noise that would be blended in on the original. Very hard to explain, so maybe someone else could chime in.
BUT, it seems like the dinc 1 had more bass.
Thanks for the reply!
Interesting about the base. Sounds dumb but I like the base on the D-Inc1.
What about volume? Can it get as loud? I couldn't believe that the Thunderbolt for example just could not get that loud.
IMO the speaker is louder than the dinc 1.
I went on youtube last night, started watching a video, and was like "wow this is loud" so I figured it was up all the way. To my surprise, the volume was only up half way.
I compared it to the dinc 1 and the 2 is definitely louder.
Keep in mind though, I purchased my dinc 1 used from a friend of mine, so I have no idea if the speaker was already "worn down" or if that's how it sounded brand new.
After some time lurking on forums I purchased this phone last night.
picked it up today - my thoughts:
also - i cannot find pdanet in the app market any more...what happened?
oh and when is HTC going to change sense to allow it to go landscape on the home page....its silly that it is still locked in portrait......
Thanks for the comments. I'm still waiting on Fedex; so, I hadn't discovered that the alarm clock feature was missing. A good 3rd party alarm app is Alarm Clock Xtreme.
pdaNet isn't visible in the Marketing on the original Inc, either. I re-checked.
I believe installation starts on the PC - you plug in your phone, when instructed to do so, in order to install on your phone. Download: Download PdaNet

thanks....if you liked the first version, you are going to love this phone. not really sure why people are so sour on it.....i cannot think of a comparable one (that is not a ping pong paddle sized).
Does anyone know if this HTC Inc 2 relies on the "bump charge" like the original Inc?
